Oh my god. I am so incredibly happy with this track. When I started producing music in rehab about three years and half ago, I wanted to tackle my love of Future Funk, I've tried countless attempts to produce my dream genre (I mean shiit, you got oldschool, funk and A E S T H E T I C, what more do you want).  After hopping through so many genres, EDM, LoFi, Future Bass, Riddim, Hip Hop, Trap and everything else. It feels like I've arrived.

 I've been in a bit of a depression with music making and in just about three hours this emerged. I really hope you enjoy!!! I had a blast making this!!

This track was made for Nexy's first ever Rail-Gang contest. My partner got caught up with work so I decided to progress with this myself!

Nexy assigned us a moodboard, I got donuts.
When I hear donut, I think of the extacy of the first bite. Feeling the rythm of the sugar dissolve through your blood and the rush. My goal was to make a dancy track full of energy to fit this vibe,

This song is pretty simple in terms of music, but I had lots of fun making it (the lyrics especially)!

My mind is racing - what am I supposed to say?

I want to say “okay” - I’m ashamed, but I’m suddenly afraid 

I may not know anything at all
And something tells me this is out of my control
I guess in retrospect I could’ve figured that
At least that way the shock wouldn’t hit like a bat 
And spastic light specs brighter than the bluest skies
Begin to dance around as panic clouds your eyes
And you can call me dumb, impulsive and unwise
But there’s no way I’ll stand here and watch, paralyzed

Who would’ve thought! No, really, this is quite a scene

Turned out to be a monster mutant death machine!
