I lived on a Lakeshore Dr. when this song came out, in high school, right when I started occasionally experimenting with LSD & some other psychs, I can’t tell you how many times I listened to this song (sober & not) thinking about life, what I wanted & where I wanted to go… the chills I get listening to this after ~10 years are unreal.

I also find it super rad & serendipitous that I developed that special connection with this track & discovered @ProbCause through it long before his days working with GRiZ, who has been my favorite producer since ‘15 & the performer I have seen the most & taken the most inspiration from over the years. You rock, Colin!!!

Highly Possible - I remember hearing Waka Flocka do a remix of a J Cole record a couple years ago. It was straight 90's hip hop style and he killed the verse on it. I made this tune one day and thought it would be dope to have some talk box vocals on it. I grew up on jazz and funk and hip hop records so i wanted it to be something that reminded me of that era. My boy Joey Porter from The Motet plays the talk box like no one I've ever heard today, he is a beast! I wrote the lyrics and he came over and did his thing and we laid down the premise for the song. I sent the track over to Waka and he loved it. He sent back straight flames! All of the planets aligned on this one and this is by far one of the dopest collaborations on this album.
