For our twenty-sixth episode we have Berlin-based Till Von Sein, a man who juggles a busy international touring schedule alongside the running of Clique where he looks after a bunch of equally-talented folk such as Kasper Bjorke, Slow Hands and Soul Clap. Till initially caught our ear back in 2012 with his deep soul-driven output on Morris Audio and then the likes of Suol, Pets, Supplement Facts and Jolly Jams. So it's an absolute pleasure to be able to put out a mix from him seven years on. As expected Till has put together a dynamite collection of cuts for us here; smooth grooves, meandering melodies and soulful rhythms from start to finish, so happy daydreaming to you!

It's not every 25-year-old who gets virtuoso producers like Zed Bias, Kaidi Tatham, Mark de Clive-Lowe and Eric Lau jumping at the opportunity to remix them, but then not many 25-year-olds are already TV stars and selling out concert halls as Ruth Koleva is back in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her new remix album runs the gamut from broken beat to turbo D&B, but this mix from Lupe Fiasco / Muhsinah  / Tawiah collaborator Eric Lau is the sunniest, smoothest soul tune and is very effectively floating our boats.

Taken from 'Kasar Remixed', Robot Koch's sombre dub enthused reimagining of 'Gone' is one of 5 tracks from Kasar's 2014 album 'Walk On' that have been reworked for the remix album, each cut seeing a Sonar Kollektiv affiliated artist charged with delivering a vastly different take on the original works whilst retaining some of their character.
Set to arrive July 20th, you can download your copy of Robot's remix of 'Gone' now.

None of the terms used for this kind of stuff really stuck, did they? Bass music, future garage, uhhhh "post-dubstep" - they don't really cut it. But here it is, exquisitely-constructed music that has a little bit of the electro-IDM finesse of an  Objekt , a little bit of vintage 2-step swing, a little bit of  Livity Sound -ish gritty soundystem techno, and a whole lot of dubwise echoes of FWD>>. This is coming on the  Wisdom Teeth  label that K-Lone runs with Facta, on a split 12" with  Keysound  alumnus Etch, and it's a proper tasty little bassbin-tester.
