The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new track from Ayako Mori. "Sound Of The Earth (Acid Replika Remix)" is our second premiere off the new new EP, Rebirth -Saisei, out on the consistently stellar Revok Records. Mori delivers 2 tracks of stripped down, hard techno destruction which is also combined with mesmerising acid lines + folkish vocals. Inspired by a recent visit to a shrine in her Japanese hometown, Mori explores feelings about life and nature through these powerful and immersive tracks. Remixes from 3SBAT, Acid Replika and Lesser Of round out this special release.

The title of the release “Saisei” is composed in Japanese Kanji of 2 pictograms:
“Sai” means to repeat and “Sei” means life or birth. Together they combine to have the meaning “Rebirth”

All profits will be donated to the artists charity Adoption UK.

Journey to Persepolis is a desert-born psytrance expedition at 148 BPM in D minor—a dark-to-bright run from night travel to brutal daylight.

It opens slow and cinematic: dry Sahara wind, sand-grit textures, distant bells, and a sparse ney/duduk-style motif. Tribal percussion creeps in (frame drum, shakers, claps), then the floor drops into a full rolling psy bassline and hypnotic arps—relentless, nomadic, and forward-pulling.

Midway, the journey collapses into heat: shimmering mirage FX, detuned pads, and exhausted breathy non-lexical vocals, like resting under the sun with your pulse still racing. A long tension build—snare rolls, gated “suck-outs,” and rising pressure—leads to the final drop: the heaviest section, packed with aggressive tribal polyrhythms, tom runs, stomps, heavy bass, and a gritty wide lead that feels like pushing through sunlight toward ancient stone.
