Músico Percussionista, nascido e criado no Pelourinho - Salvador, Ícaro Sá iniciou sua carreira aos 15 anos. Integrou a Orchestra Sudaka, de Ramiro Musotto. Por 11 anos foi percussionista da Orkestra Rumpilezz. Atualmente, faz parte do grupo Baiana System, tendo feito 2 turnês nos EUA e diversos shows pelo Brasil, e gravou quatro discos da banda, EP Pirata, Duas Cidades, O Futuro Não Demora e OXEAXEEXU assinando os arranjos percussivos e concepção rítmicas dos discos, logrando o Grammy Latino de 2019. Acompanhou diversos artistas e bandas, tais como: Arto Lindsay, Lucas Santana, Lazzo Matumbi, Márcia Castro, Larissa Luz, Mariana Aydar, Baby do Brasil, Josyara entre outros. Gravou diversos discos, como: O Corpo De Dentro, de Lourenço Rebetez, Xênia França, Veia Nordestina de Mariana Aydar, dentre outros. E integrante do grupo percussivo Aguidavi do Jêje, liderado por Luizinho do Jêje. Também banda RadioMundi e do projeto DUO NE, com o DJ Mangaio, que consiste em Live PA com interações instrumentais, voltadas ao universo da música nordestina mesclada com tendências da música eletrônica mundial, unindo sonoridades tradicionais com samples, sequenciadores e synths.

Rio de Janeiro-based label, Onda Boa, embarks on a sonic journey to Brazil’s North East for inspiration with their fourth release, "Faraó Divindade do Egito." Joutro Mundo reinterprets one of Brazil’s earliest samba-reggae tunes — a track that achieved the feat of selling over a hundred thousand copies upon its initial release, marking a significant milestone for Bahian music — while remaining faithful to the label’s "cosmitropical" sound that defined Onda Boa’s initial three releases.

Originally recorded by axé legend (and current Brazilian Minister of Culture) Margareth Menezes, "Faraó Divindade do Egito" swiftly became a Bahian carnival anthem upon its debut in 1987. Joutro Mundo transforms this classic into a deep cosmic journey that still remains rooted in the song's axé origins. The vocals, delivered enchantingly by Faustão, a prominent vocalist from Salvador, sing of the profound connection between ancient Egypt and the sun-soaked cobblestone streets of Pelourinho, Salvador Bahia's historic district with deep African roots. This lovingly crafted update will resonate just as powerfully on late-night dancefloors as it will at some Balearic beach bar off the coast of Salvador.

Keeping the project authentically Bahian, Onda Boa wisely enlists the talents of Bahia Boogie and Mareh Music mainstay, Processman, for the remix. The seasoned producer, hailing from the same region as Margareth Menezes, provides an authentic connection from the origins of axé music to contemporary Afro-Brazilian electronic beats. His remix transforms the track into a mid-tempo axé house track that pays homage to the original's spirit. Alongside the traditional timbres found in axé music, the familiar melody of the song unfolds via an analog synth line that gradually evolves into more acidic territory as the track progresses.

Undoubtedly, this is celebratory music set to elevate the dancefloor with its cosmic carnival vibe. And, regardless of whether you speak Portuguese, this is a musical journey that connects you to something deeper. This is Brazilian future roots dance music — an auditory offering fit for a Pharaoh.

Processman is a musician, DJ and producer. His creation is a universal and engaging sound with dance grooves from Disco, Funk, House and Brazilian Music that drew the attention of European labels. Highlight for his recent release by File Under Disco, the EP Adupé containing two original tracks with the vocals of Cady and remixes by Jkriv, Joutro Mundo and Dicky Trisco. The track “Do Beijo”, a collab with Yuksek, was released as a single in wax in the US, Japan and Europe, on digital platforms and later on the album “Nosso Ritmo” by the French producer. “It’s Carnaval” Remix was released in the compilation “Trash the Wax” from the British label Paper Records. In 2022 he debuted in the line up of Mareh Music NYE23 Festival and his track “Baba Oni” was chosen to be the soundtrack for the official release video of the festival; it was released only in vinyl by Barefoot Beats label, available in Juno Download.
