PRO Custom Drums is a drum sample collaboration between Ronnie Björnström, Thomas "Plec" Johansson and Oscar Nilsson.

With a combined 30+ years of experience working with some of the most known names in metal, rock, electronica and pop having generated multiple awards, nominations, platinum and gold records. It was time that in 2013, producer Ronnie Björnström and Thomas "Plec" Johansson got together with drummer/producer Oscar Nilsson to create a new drum sample library to meet their specific needs as producers and mixers working in a diverse world of musical styles.

The idea was to record different drums in very fine detail and to do it as naturally as possible using multiple close microphones and ambience options to maximize the possibilities within the context of a mix. The natural and minimally processed samples make them ideal for all genres of music where drum augmentation or total sample replacement is needed since they're not intended to fit any specific genre or purpose. 

The musical benefit of using unprocessed samples and adding processing to them within the context of a performance is immense. The samples sound infinitley more convincing as if they are a part of the performance rather than having them come across sounding un-natural and robotic, not to mention the fact that it is a lot more creative and fun to use.
