The Procyon II team are very proud to bring you PRCN001: 'Wave Artifice' - Naarm local AJ Walker's second EP and the maiden release for the Procyon II label.  

AJ returns with bag of sonic goodies to take you a journey through the galaxy and back. With a propensity for driving low-end grooves, snappy percussion and laser-like acid-licks leaving no surprises, this release has seen him venture down new avenues of sound design creating nebulous pad sections and synth harmonies to loose yourself in on a dusty dance-floor in the bush. 

3 recent cuts, 'Wave Artifice', 'Polybius' and 'Astra-Technique' showcase the last 6-months or so of AJ's trip into the esoteric and aims to capture that otherworldly feeling you might get while staring into the liminality of space on a clear night. 
'Blue Shell Boogie', written in 2021 is an ode to everyones favourite N64 classic. Sitting dormant on a backup disc since and finally finding a home on the Procyon II imprint.

It's house, it's trance, it's a bit prog and it's Mario Kart 64 - it's Wave Artifice.

After resting and replenishing on Kepler, our heroes once again set the course of the ship to Earth, eager to arrive home after months in space. Upon entering Earth's orbit they realize that our planet is overrun by plants of an enormous stature, and there are no buildings or people in sight, just rainforest as far as the eye can see. Could this be a result of the repair on the warp drive? could they possibly have traveled back in time to an age before humans? After further inspection, the team comes upon ruins of some sort, that appear both futuristic and ancient, and decide to explore. They shockingly discover that they have not traveled to the past, but to the distant future, where because of climate change and nuclear war, humanity has been extinguished, and as a result, mother nature has taken back what rightfully belonged to her, and in our place, dinosaurs once again rule the earth. As night falls and the bushes around them start to bustle with life, they come to the realization that at least here and now, humans are not at the top of the food chain...

Thump! Check your periphery, because a heretofore entity has arrived on this earthly plane. Asphalt DJ has added another notch to the Haŵs bedpost, with the actualisation of his ‘Eternal Flower’ EP. 
The prolific DJ has really turned his attention to production of late, churning out a slew of sumptuous releases and features, neatly coalescing with his excellent mixes and underlining his clear-cut talent.

His wizardry and acute ear for high-octane beats knows limitless bounds, and the majesty of ‘Eternal Flower’ continues his cartographic foray into pumping prog.

Sounds From NoWhere is pleased to premiere a new Philippe Petit' gem on '(MS)'.

Hailing from Michigan, USA, vinyl and techno label (MS) is the creation of Myles Sergé that usually focuses on his own original cuts, but has also featured quality remixes from Lee Holman and Rennie Foster.

'The Replacements' is a new VA release with four tracks by four different artists from Argentina, France, and America.

Philippe Petit calls Chamonix home, and the French maestro heads up Knotweed Records and Decision Making Theory (DMT) and has also appeared on Ben Sims' Symbolism, Len Faki's Figure, Slam's Soma, Radio Slave's RSPX amongst others. 
"Strange Luck" adds a deep and soulful take to the EP, using delicate delays on the lead and a warm, throbbing bassline to guide this classic Detroit-influenced jam.
