Four Seasons is a four-part musical journey podcast by Mr Deluxe. As the name suggests, Four Seasons will musically chronicle the unique essence of each season: Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. Each installment of the podcast will be influenced and inspired by the associations and mood of that particular season whilst remaining true to Mr Deluxe’s unique sound.
Four Seasons is conceptualised to take the listener on a journey of discovery, healing, inspiration, marvel, triumph and strength – much like the seasons in our lives do.

FOUR SEASONS S1 E9

A 25-year veteran of dance music, SCHROEDS brings his unique style to a new generation of music lovers. Starting off in 1995 as a house music DJ in Cincinnati when he was just 16, he very quickly proved he could hang. He started opening at the infamous Lift every week for legends like Felix the Housecat, Todd Terry and Moodyman. His love for dance music quickly led to production and he started creating a live electronic act with high school friend Jeremy Zunk. The two would go on to get signed as "LP" to Moonshine Records in 2001 releasing several 12" singles.Together with Taylor Pakula in 2002, the trio would become a staple of the Southwest rave scene with exciting live performances and DJ sets, playing alongside artists such as Rabbit in the Moon and DJ Magic Mike. 

SCHROEDS migrated to Los Angeles in 2005 and shortly after started producing for Paul Oakenfold and Adam Freeland. He would go on to release several singles on Perfecto under the moniker "The Fraction" in the late 2000s. After a long hiatus from the dance music scene he was reinvigorated by working at Native Instruments and meeting LA DJs Mary Droppinz, NAIAD and Materielle. The LA Beat Scene also helped reignite the spark with their infamous cyphers and beat retreat. Currently, SCHROEDS is producing new tracks with his unique style and has been leaning in with several LA artists including NAIAD, Mary Droppinz and Taylor Plenn. SCHROEDS has set his path ablaze and with a new fan to his flame, he continues to ignite productions and dance floors alike.

Kris & Dusty is an electronic music duo hailing from Sacramento, California. The dynamic pair, consisting of Dusty Brown and Kris Anaya, was originally conceived as a 'raw live music experience.'  

With two distinct musical paths, Kris brings his experiences from bands like An Angle, Doombird, and Contra, as well as his current project, Best Move. Dusty brings the driving force of his electronic roots from Little Foxes, Who Cares Music, Contra, and his own self-titled act, Dusty Brown.

For their debut album "The Great Escape (from Cyberspace), the duo enlisted the help of Zac Brown, guitarist of Tycho, to produce the album — focusing on capturing duo's raw live sound.
