Originally slated to be released on Atlantic Records, MCB was dropped for being dubbed unlistenable by critics. The album was shelved, but an unknown assainant reportedly broke into the vault late one night and stole whatever original recordings they could grab. The album managed to be bootlegged and posted on soundclick.com in late 2003, and it wasn't until recently that the masters were turned over to an unnamed engineer, who was able to clean up the rough recordings best they could. This is that album. Enjoy.

Trapped in afterworld limbo and unable to fulfill his creative duties, he found a way back—by inhabiting a host body. Now, he channels his production skills from behind a full-face covering, while performing barefaced as an emcee under the name OchoPhono, distinguishing the dual sides of his artistry.

8-bza has collaborated with a range of established artists, including CRIMEAPPLE, Sadat X, Ras Kass, Tame One, Holocaust, Akrobatik, Mr. Lif, Tribeca, Vic Spencer, The Bad Seed, Nowaah the Flood and many more.
