through toasts and comments on my weight

apology for christmas

The MH Drill project spawned a few months ago, when Sash and Brani approached me with the idea of making a drill track for More Honor's 26th annual show. I was immediately sold on the idea, and we got to work.

I produced the beat by sampling the AUBG anthem as performed by the AUBG choir. Through lots of warping and manipulation, I was able to get the sample sounding as dark as it does in the track. The drums were heavily inspired by the sounds of UK Drill today, especially artists/producers such as Aitch, Abra Cadabra and Fumez The Engineer.

This project is the culmination of the creativity, passion and talent of several AUBG students. I would like to shout out Sash, Brani, Agi and Yassin for their vocal performances on the track, and Bish for helping with the mixing and mastering of the song. I couldn't have done this without y'all <3
