A cover/mashup of Radiohead’s ‘No Surprises’ from “OK Computer”, using (pretty much) only the Undertale soundfont, which is also basically just the Earthbound soundfont. I thought remaking this song would be a good learning experience, but the bridge was really hard to make. I literally haven’t even finished it yet, like as I am writing this. Who knows if I will? Who knows if I’ll even finish writing this descr

Can you believe they made a bloody joseph for bloody mary? Good for them.

By far the most different track on here because it’s just not drum or bass, though there are both of those things. I want angry, industrial noise that sounds like the color red, so there’s usually one of these on all of my projects. There’s also a hidden feature from SAM, the robot from 1982, because I like his voice.

Bloody Joseph

Caffeine + Tannin + Oil + Artificial Sweetener + Milk + . . .

This song is the equivalent of leaving your coffee in the microwave for too long. Ouch it hurts, but it’s definitely reenergizing. A lot of different ideas just kind of happened but I think the most notable one is the heavy use of stock vocals from my DAW. It just goes to show that you can actually make something with bad sounds. A bad song!

Eggnogg does not taste good unless you have someone to share it with.

This is the first track that was fully completed for the project. It wasn’t originally supposed to be drum and bass, just drum, but I realized there were lots of ways to manipulate the ingredients I was given. I also decided to break out the Undertale soundfont for this one (or is it the Earthbound soundfont?), though where I put it is something you’ll have to listen for.

Eggnogg

Green tea is pretty good for you, or so I’ve been told.

This was the first song I began working on for the project. I completed the intro and decided at that point I wanted to make not just one, but a bunch of songs. I didn’t come back to that intro until about a month later, but it resulted in this thing that sounded pretty “neat”. Speaking of “neat”, did you know the chorus actually samples ____ from the _____ franchise? Don’t sue me!

Like brass knuckles if it was a drink.

This song currently feels most like the direction I'd like to take my music. It’s almost entirely based off ads for the first Playstation and this thing called a “Hitbit”(?) to make it sound OLD (1994). The samples are in japanese because of JPEGMAFIA. I have no idea what the sample translates to now though that it has been all chopped up so hopefully it makes sense, or not.

Yes I know it’s not spelled like that.

I wanted this to feel like an easy introduction to an EP that’s stuffed with ideas. Just drums, bass, pads, and some valley girls saying valley girl stuff. I took that off Youtube because you can do that??? I think. It all culminates into a track that’s annoying in like a fun way.
