The Shade EP is the product of restless creativity throughout lockdown, creating a transcendent embodiment of moody basses and grime set vocal chops in its own unique way. 

Heavyweights Jook & Blumey have teamed up with prolific wordsmith Logan for a world colliding ‘Shade EP’ as the first release on ESO Recordings. Jook (Sector 7 sounds, Twenty Twenty, White Peach), & Blumey (ec2a, Outhouse Sounds) explore expansive and haunting melodies, ​coupled with trancey chords —and ​it's beautiful and eerie. 

‘Shade’ is the result of years of trial and error, creating a high-energy song influenced by 2-step garage like EL B, Benny Ill and early ‘00 dubstep tracks. Jook & Blumey wanted to “create something that you could listen to at home, on the go & at the club and not get bored of”, and Shade is just that.
