A Career Highlight
One of the best moments of my music journey happened recently... 
I was asked to play 2 songs for a demo of 2 judges.
The demo begins, and suddenly, 
2 more people join in.
Next thing I know, I’ve played 5 tracks 
– it’s turning into a full-on performance! 
Then 2 more judges arrive, 
out of the corner of my eye, I spot the master 
Poppin Pete! 
In a moment of inspiration,
I decide to play a track I bought from him 
nearly 20 years ago, back when CD mixtapes were still a thing.
As soon as Pete hears the beat, 
he jumps in, completely takes over another judge’s performance, 
and goes off! 👀

By this time, I’ve already played 22 minutes of popping music 
across all eras. 
I drop a classic funk track, and Pete starts locking! 
He totally steals the show – 
and he wasn’t even supposed to dance that day. 

I felt truly blessed to witness that magic unfold.
