What a phenomenal start to 2024. TPS had seen the introduction and curation of UK rap, into the Phonk sound and some very special recordings off the back of that. With the help of the legendary @balamii studio we have been allowed to infuse flavour from across the board and curate new styles and feelings.

With that Teddy Colour & Bonz got booked to play in Paris this weekend just gone alongside this volumes very special guest... GOTNOTIME!

What an incredible city, or country I should say! So many legends. A shoutout to No Sauce, Robbgikma, Sorrymane, Nicky Slime, Bonz, Kelsey & Anya. Soudiere, Roland Jones, Sad Soundcloud, Unseen, Fck, Holymane, Evil, Lil Rocketman, Cizzvrp, Kushface, Groufs, Wtfthisyear, Jay Breeze and of course Tibo Brtz or the legendary LA PHONKERIE!!

What an absolute honour to be able to host such a talented artist. Gotnotime has a way with symphonic samples and instruments like none other. The way he prepares his intricate percussion work and intertwines it with plush strings and warm cosy basses is just sublime.

"such quibbling over semantics may seem like petty stuff" 

SEMANTICS, the follow up album to ENTANGLEMENTS 4, explores the stages of grief one must go through following an emotionally challenging period of their life. In no particular order, the stages of grief are explored in each song, expressing the emotions and feelings felt through every stage while remaining true to Imperivm’s unique sound and style. Much like ENTANGLEMENTS 4, SEMANTICS is presented in a more emotionally charged manner, expressing grief while also building upon the lore and continuing to tell the story.
SEMANTICS opens with another infamous intro, the Fight Club scene where The Narrator relentlessly reduces “Angel Face” to a pulp & explains why he felt and did what he did - “I felt like destroying something beautiful”.
Tying all of that into the framed album cover & dated significance of the assassination of Julius Caesar on March 15th, SEMANTICS is a true artistic expression of emotion that the listener is encouraged to feel and relate to.
