“Rikki” is a word with many meanings in Finnish. It can mean “broken” shattered, torn, incomplete. But it also refers to sulfur, and “rikkihappo” means sulfuric acid — something corrosive, burning, consuming. This track continues the emotional journey of my previous releases: “Kipu” (Pain), “Tuska” (distress), “Pain”, and “Distress”. “Rikki” explores the moment something breaks — in the mind, in the body, in the soul. “Rikki” on sana, jolla on monta merkitystä. Se voi tarkoittaa rikkinäistä — särkynyttä, repeytynyttä, puuttuvaa. Mutta se viittaa myös rikkiin alkuaineena, ja rikkihappo on jotakin syövyttävää, polttavaa, kuluttavaa.
