DAMN this mix is ULTRA wide and deep. i hear things all around me

it's an idea that has been in my head for a couple of days even if only last night I started a draft of the Piano part .. I spent almost all day trying to record.  Just a little editing on the fly.  For a first version I find it exceptional.  impossible not to share it here with you.

We put this tune up a ways back, but it’s calling my name today again! I’m on my way to get my 80 year tune up and overhaul down at the hospital, and this song tells that tale about the best we can do. Some names have been changed or omitted to protect the irresponsible. In addition to The Mixed Bag Band studio unit, we were fortunate to have Fiddlin Faye Petree in the house fiddlin’ and gigglin’ her way through this 16 bar jump country blues tune and Lucy Lawrence Kilpatrick ticklin' keys and a smile on her face, both of them prettyin’ up the place the day we laid it down at Southside Tracks. I was inspired to share this track from the album The Second Continent as it was used as the closing track in a short film called Fledgling that was released earlier this year. In terms of arrangement it's probably the cleanest track from the album and, for me personally, stands out as one of the most heartfelt.
