Carter "Roc" Mangan Jr. is a music producer, musician and sound engineer from Newark, New Jersey. His company (Off The Rock), creates original content for film, television, artists and other media. Carter currently does music production work for film, television, artist and other media.
Carter has music placed in many TV shows across many networks including Showtime, HBO, MTV, VH1, E!, Oxygen, BET, Bravo,The Travel Channel, Hulu, and Netflix. He has worked on music for the feature film "Gimme Shelter" starring Vanessa Hudgens and "UGLY": A Short Film, which was accepted into the Cannes Film Festival, and The American Black Film Festival in 2016. Carter has also done production work with music producers Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliot, rap group LOX, Hussein Fatal (Tupac's "Outlawz"), Young Buck (G-Unit), Taana Gardner, legendary jazz artist/drummer Norman Connors and many other artists.
         
     Roc has spoken at many music industry panels and event competitions, including The New Jersey Hip-Hop Press Conference, The Artist & Producers Conference, The Allstars Talent Competition and The Industry Taste-Makers Conference in NJ.  Roc is currently an engineer, producer and instructor at Cobblestone Multimedia in Newark, NJ, and also a composer and audio/visual engineer for The Liberty Science Center in Jersey City, New Jersey.
