Legendary Dutch producer Remy Unger returns to the label for his first solo EP - Longlist. 

  A pioneer of the tougher European sound since stepping onto the dancefloor of the Roxy in Amsterdam way back in 1989, Remy Unger has been one of the unsung heroes of Dutch electronic music. Signed to every major label worth a damn, his collaborations with Sven van Hees and Roland Klinkenberg in the ‘90s soundtracked our own epiphanies, and hits such as ‘Backstabber’, Serious Damage’ and ‘Mano’ showcase his unique take and incredible creative energy. 

  That energy, even 30+ years later hasn’t waned such that opening the release with the title track 'Longlist', flaunting a deeper vibe that captivates from the first note. As simple as it is hypnotic, Unger’s passion is clear to see. 

Next up is ‘Damage Done’ and this has all the impact and fire that his greatest hits all share in common. Rumbling sonics and stabs lead the way as insistent hats and percussive tones give drive and direction changing throughout; telling a story without the need of words. 

Rounding off the release ‘Reset The Past’ is a thoroughly modern track with old school charm. Warm analogue bass acts as a thick rug besides the roaring fireplace of polyrhythmic stabs that fill your ears with hope.

 In 2015 he was one of the 3 winners of the burn Residency program in which hegot the chance to play at the best clubs of Ibiza. If electronic music were a fantasy game, many fans would pair Peter Makto and Gregory S.tobeon the same team. 

Fortunately, we don’t have tofantasize because they’ve done it themselves, in real life. Lifelong friends who are twins when it comes to their horoscopes, Peter and Gregory have been collaborating for as long as they can remember and have created anunbreakable bond in music, a bond that speaks for itself when Peter and Gregory are performing together producing together, or remixing together.

Charlie May bio: As the architect behind many of the stylistic blueprint shifts in dance since the early heady days of acid house, Charlie May knows a thing or two about what makes a dance floor tick.
One half of revered progressive house pioneers Spooky; the engineer and producer of many of Sasha’s biggest singles and albums; highly respected solo producer in his own right, May has remained at the vivacious beating heart of house since the early ’90s.It was in 1992 that Charlie May and production partner Duncan Forbes made their maiden voyage as Spooky.3 years later, their most critically acclaimed album – 1995’s ‘Found Sound’ led the duo to become in high demand as remixers, reworking everyone from Sven Väth to William Orbit.
Taking a brief hiatus from Spooky, Charlie May went in search of a new project. Linking up with DJ superstar Sasha, their initial production collaboration was on a soundtrack to hit Playstation game Wipeout 3, and from there, Sasha tasked May with engineering a new version of an unreleased Spooky track ‘Xpander’, which was to become one of Sasha’s signature tracks.
The acclaimed ‘Airdrawndagger’ album (2002), again featured May behind the boards (alongside Junkie XL), as well as the following Global Underground mix album ‘Involver’. But eager to step out of the shadows, May had all this time been honing his solo chops, and with the release of the fresh ‘Bug EP’ on Junior Boys Own London, he began to garner props as a producer in his own right. Charlie’s solo incarnation was to bear further fruit in 2006, with the Charlie May vs. Sasha cut ‘Seal Clubbing’, a smash record for Renaissance.
Returning to the Spooky fold for a third album, ‘Open’, (2007), Spooky found themselves in New York City (during the album promo tour), where they settled to collaborate with Sasha on a succession of new productions for the DJ’s fresh label Emfire including ‘Coma’ and ‘Who Killed Sparky’. Off the back of these well-received cuts, the duo was brought in to assist with the production of ‘Involv2er’, the second volume in Sasha’s DJ mix/remixes series.
After a series of successful solo releases and remixes for various labels including Bedrock, Mayhem, Microcastle and Indigo amongst others, May has since established himself as a successful and in demand dj on the international club circuit. Regularly performing at venues worldwide from Pacha in Buenos Aires to Warung in Brazil to Chinese Laundry in Sydney.
Current studio projects include collaborations with James Lavelle/Unkle as well as Ulrich Schnauss. Singles for Bedrock and an ambient album of previously unreleased material

Tim Kollberg is a german House DJ/ Producer, born in Düsseldorf. Since 2010 he finds his passion for House Music. On this moment he follows his dreams to will be a a good DJ in the future. During this time he builds up at the same time his event management Nightlight Sessions, where he hosts events in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Francfurt and other cities.
