For this mix, i used ProTools as my DAW of choice. I did not only use plugins for my mixing process but also some hardware such as the Golden Age EQ73 and Art Pro VLA 2 Compressor. Some plugins used were the Waves plugins, Sound Toys, and Lexicon Reverb. I love clarity in every one of my mixes and thats what my goal was for this mix as well. I made sure all the instruments are heard clearly while making sure there is a pump/groove in the mix as well. 
     After getting all my levels, i realized that i needed to do something else to the bass in order to make it blend with the rest of the instruments. My problem was that it was kind of muddy so i added some light distortion to the Bass_Di. It added some "Umph" and it immediately blended with the rest of the mix. I gave some parallel compression to the drums with an API2500 compressor plugin by waves and i immediately loved the sound. 
     For the chorus vocals, i thought it needed a little bit more image, so that it can differ from the Verses a bit. What i did here was i duplicated the vocal track for the chorus and shifted the region a bit for the duplicated track and it gave somewhat of a Doubled effect. I compressed those 2 together and added some lexicon reverb to it. I also used some delay on the verse vocals. I did this with Sound Toys Echo Boy. I just love that plugin.
     Overall, i really enjoyed mixing this song and would like to wish best of luck to all the contestants.
