After two anniversary events thrown in exile, Ankali celebrated its fifth one at home. Finally we had a chance to spread the programme through all our spaces over the course of one long weekender. As a little throwback, we are publishing recordings of three sets which guided us through Saturday’s nightfall: Zozo bringing the dancers into an ecstatic climax in the blazing hot Garden; Schaumstoff tuning our ears with Planeta’s soundsystem, making them ready for anything; and Kosmic Skaut on Ankali’s floor helping us realise, that the second night will be twice as emotional and hard to leave as the first one.

Trushmix 215 proudly presents Teknobusker Live at Globus/Tresor. A live recording of the legendary Teknobukser gig 23rd of September last year! The guys where invited by DJ Sotofett to play on one of his regular nights at Globus, where quality underground talent is presented.

The now familiar group Teknobuskers have been raving the tunnel's of Berlin with their distinctive danceable acid for years. And now it was sure time for the club! And they delivered! A talk of the town for a while, and now you can hear the recording on Trushmix! The concert consisting of the now departed founder SJ Tequilla on 303, together with his still active bandmates Aaty on EFX, Robotron on beats, 303 and sampler and the charismatic vocalist Nate!

We are very proud to finally release Professional Music’s first 12”, with five tracks that hit very close to the heart and mission of the label. NYC-based musician MDThies sculpts his debut EP into a record of deep, contemplative groovers, leaning on layers of dubby atmosphere and bursts of playfulness. The sound is organic, psychedelic, and saturated with a tapey analogue warmth that doesn’t obscure the musicality at work.

The A-side floats between grayscale haze and soaring rhodes chords, always atop a steppy bassline and masterfully finessed percussion. The B-side kicks off with a remix by none other than homegrown Stockholm hero Samo DJ. His mix cuts the fat and delivers a simple and impactful house gem with ethereal chords layered over the bassline from MDThies sizzling electro B2 banger, Tempt. A record that is equally suited for stay-at-home listening as it is for the late-night hours in the hands of an adventurous DJ.
