Clues was originally demoed and performed live, along with Belgrade '88 + WHAM! (briefly!) by the Vasey-Mulholland-Goodwin version of DRY RIB. We could and did tear the room up with Belgrade; Doll By Doll's manager Bruce (and he should know) said we were "savage". After savage meant savage but before it meant savage.
