Zero7 - Home (The Professor's Black Dog Remix)

The bizarre show intro for "No Known Cure" - which was hosted by Chris Morris (BBC Radio Bristol/BBC South West). 

Even though the first jingle is the Radio Bristol 'Alfasound' news out ident, I *think* the remainder is a montage of BBC Radio jingles/beds? I can make out a Radio Gloucestershire backing track. 

Can anyone piece this together?!

"No Known Cure" Show Intro - BBC Radio Bristol (01/90)

Jingles and idents montage from Channel 4's "The Black & White Pirate Radio Show", which formed part of the "Eleventh Hour" series. The documentary was originally broadcast in 1987 and looked at UK pirate radio in the 1960's and 1980's. 

This montage was used during a programme segment which concentrated on some of the 1980's London pirate stations.

Last year I created a couple of remixes of Zero7's classic chilled out song "Home" for a competition. To be honest...the mixes were a bit out there, which probably summed up my frame of mind at the time.

Anyway...here is an edit of "Home" mixed out on my trusty "Adobe Audition" 24 track software.

Here's the 1984 Custom package from TM Communications Inc/Standard Sound for BRMB. This package was a top-up to the original Standard Sound "Because" package from 1982.

In my opinion...this is one of the best packages produced by TM!

Here is a selection of idents from Piccadilly Radio's "Key 103" 1988 launch package. These idents featured Steve Coogan as male voiceover.

The original Key 103 was aimed largely at the ABC1 demographic, but was short-lived before being rebranded "Piccadilly Key 103".
