RIP Brenda Wooton I sampled her track Lyonesse for this beat. My coworker Sachiko Nishijima happens to have a degree in music playing the fiddle from an Irish uni and I got her to play on this.

A lot of hiphop is about saying where you come from and telling people about it. 

I grew up in Cornwall and I did a lot of hiphop there with good people.
I realised that I had never done a beat about the place. 
If you grow up in Cornwall there isn't much to tell you that you are growing up in a special part of the world. You take it all for granted;

Now I live 6000 km away, I miss it from time to time. With this beat I was trying to get the magic that you feel when you are there. Sometimes.

I am not ethnically Cornish but I grew up there and I say I am from there when people ask.

I am putting together a youtube channel where I will put a video up that explains all the references I put in here. I just moved house and I haven't had time to make beats etc.
