Birds Of Saki LFO Ambient Version

A largely sub 120bpm where the aim was to bridge disparate dots from everything between a lowkey Autechre remix of a J-Pop song, peaktime room 2 2019 summer discosleazeheaters from the Heidegluhen club(if you know, you know and also shout outs to Eddie C and Delfonic from OYE for that song), a hidden bargain shop find that yielded a rare italo 7 inch fetching a pretty penny on discogs, Russell Haswell noise electronics, pastoral ambient from the North via Manchester's Begin and some very underrated future garage by New Zealand's Keepsakes.

Sorry for the heavy handed EQ on that bass there at 44min.

Profound Bathroom Graffiti - 15th September 2019

I think I must've been a bit hungover when I did this one and it was hella rainy coming into the studio (shouts to all the convenience store owners of Bristol's Stokes Croft, Somerset Ciders and Idle Hands who all love my money).

 I think for the two weeks prior to making this mix I was really into the Hunee Beats in Space mix before I did the mix and thought about what sort of state of mind the guy was in when he recorded because he seemed a bit sad on air. Also coloring the mix was intense Brexit debates that were happening in the UK at the time

This mix is a bit more upbeat and builds on IDM-esq bleeps, Coloundi and Electro 303 bass anchored productions (almost veering towards Miami Booty Bass at times), A bit of leftfield Bristol Bass music, Brexit ASMR soundscapes, Hunee-esque Zouk, secret Indonesian disco tune finds and other assortive expansive electronics. One of my last mixes and one I really enjoyed making. It was around the final days of summer and I think I came to to the realization that I had to bounce out of the UK for a moment. Kind of introspective but pretty cool for homelistening

Contains deconstructed club bangers from LOFT and Club Sound Pellegrino Thermal Team, Acting Press/Regelbau ambient break and broken beats, goofball deep/leftfield house oddities, dubby wubbies and even some proto G funk that are definitely lowkey driving bumshakers.
