The intent of Progressions is to showcase the newest progressive house, deep house, tech house, and techno tracks of the highest quality that I find to be noteworthy, useful, or meaningful, and (let’s not fail to mention) that I really enjoy listening to. My goal is to keep it clean and consistent and let the music speak for itself. The show will feature primarily newly released tracks but will support recent classics and classic tracks as well.

Progressions 004 (July 2017)

Proggy J has spent the last few years experimenting with expressing his immense passion for electronic music, specifically in the progressive and tech house genres. He has yet to play out live, but lately he is looking to pin down his sound and hopes for a chance to bring something unique to the techno scene in Iowa.

Check out his mixes that showcase clean, sometimes sudden transitions, with emphasis on interesting track selection. Proggy has an insatiable urge to play tracks with unique production sounds, soul, and meaning, and likes to tell a story with his mixing.

If you wanted to summarize Proggy in one sentence, you could probably do it by saying he likes mixing big PROGressive tracks with a touch of breaks style. But he certainly doesn't mind a good pure progressive mix either.
