Melodic Progressive House Trance Deep Nu Disco

We are truly excited to bring you another production to the test from the so skilled Norwegian producer Richard Gjerdin aka Proglifter. With 2 full EP's in the past on the label, we here bring you one more to fall in love with, since he has created more superb music in his studio that he wanted to release together with us, and we of course would never say no to this producer. "Dubai", as this production is baptized to, is another example of what he is capable of creating. With his great talent to layer things up, to give the production thickness, superb atmosphere and the great progressive feel, he is once more doing it here, and we are so excited to have him back with this HUGE production, this is progressive trance at its very very best! This time we are to bring some remix work on to his ideas to see how other producers interpreters on his ideas and we are thrilled to face you with another skilled lineup! First up is the UK duo Boxer & Forbes, known from massive labels such as Monster Tunes and Infrasonic in the past, and it's with great pleasure we present them on the PHW roster now. Next up on remix duty we have a welcome return to the label from Macedonian producer Digital Affliction. Being seen for the first time on our opening PHW & Friends release, released back in the end of January, we saw a glimpse of what is to come from him and we are eager to see the reactions on this now monster from him. His interpretation of "Dubai" is definitely something rare and special. With driving bass chords, pounding kicks and an overall stunning groove, you are faced with another heavy act here, to lift this release even higher, it's another skilled piece of trance music coming up from Digital Affliction and we so hope this can push him further on the scene, he is definitely worth it! The next addition on the label is another production on our roster from one of Norways finest, Kent Jorgensen aka K.R.J. that brings more progressive goodness to the world here. With a more stripped down production, he is once more using his trademark plucks to lift the production his way, and my God he does it in style once again. Vocal effects, thick kicks, cool melody work and a gorgeous breakdown does the cherry on the cake here, and we could never ask for more. Having all this said, we hope and believe you all are as excited as we are to bring another quality release from some of our mates to the PHW empire, we for sure look forward to your reactions on this beauty!

Kicking off the 2015 release schedule, Silk Digital is excited to present the first remixes single from Dan Sieg's "A Sense Of Wonder" artist album, which reached #1 on Beatport's trance and progressive house release charts in the final quarter of this past year. Specifically, remix duties have been bestowed upon Sound Quelle (Russia) and Blugazer (USA), two veteran talents who experienced breakthrough years in 2014, on account of various standout original contributions and remixes to our parent label. 

Sound Quelle continues to dazzle electronic music fans alike with his versatile talent: composing deep house, club trance, and all sub-genres in between with equal sophistication and depth. His remix of Dan Sieg's "A Sense Of Wonder" begins with a powerful groove, coupled with deep pads and the subtle lead melody from the original mix. Gorgeous melodic variations begin to emerge, as the track approaches the main break. Poignant pads offer an especially memorable climax, just before the drop beckons the listener to re-join the dancefloor. 

Blugazer, whose "Ethereal Concepts" was a label highlight from 2014, offers a heartwarming take on "Horizons". The radiance and sense of optimism from the original mix is not lost in Blugazer's take, which centers on a soothing progressive house groove and early-morning pads. Meanwhile, signature vocal effects add tremendous texture to the soundscape. By the song's latter half, Blugazer has once again woven an intricate progressive composition, replete with various melodic layers, heavenly vocal stabs, and soulful pads.

Today we feel is a very special day for us, because we belive thare not to many of you who have heard about the producer being on the label for our 27th release, and it's always a nice feeling finding something rare and special, and it for sure ís. Hailing from Norway, Richard Gjerdin aka Proglifter has contributed with 2 amazing progressive trance productions, that definitely is "crème de la crème" in our ears. Opening the release is the title track with the clever name of "Movember". This is a fantastic production, filled with deep and energetic kick drums, superb melodies and pumping precussion that drives this track to the max. Small vocal chops is also included to give the track another blistering dimension. This is a super production in our opinion and we are thrilled to have found it and also landed it on PHW. The 2nd original, baptized as "Secret World" has as slightly different direction. With a great drive and moving melodies, this still has a more mellow feel than the Movember track, but it's another huge production coming on here that's for sure. Be ready for nice throbbing kicks, relaxing melodies and skillful structures ready to knockout clubbers on the floors. We are thrilled to have this 2 track EP with us and can't wait to hear the reactions, well done Richard and we want you back soon! 

Proglifter - Movember (Original Mix) [PHW027]

It is time to welcome back the great progressive trance talent from Norway, Richard Gjerdin AKA Proglifter to PHW once again, and we are thrilled to show what he has got for you this time.

This is definitely a producer on his way up with his own style of progressive. Here he is with 2 brand new originals that for us is something exceptional. 

Opening this fantastic journey you are about to join in on is the beautiful production ”Las Palmas”. Flying of in 130 bpm, this one is packed with superb structures and floating melodies. This is just brilliant and something we would sign any day of the week!

The 2nd production out here, ”Shimamotsu” is another atmospheric progressive trance production from this gifted producer including some magnificent drive in the track, and yet so lush and relaxing with all those beautiful melodies. It's a proud moment days like this, to run the PHW label, thanks for being around us Richard!
