One Synth Challenge #95: HY-Mono

Composed, produced and performed by Stan LePard in 1996. This is a 2020 remix.

Used in the "Home" version of Windows 98 for the set up music.  Also used in Windows XP, Internet Starter Kit 3 and Encarta Virtual Globe 1998.

This is my entry to The Sound of Scenesat Vol. 5. which was released on February 9th (https://music.scenesat.com).

This song started out as a very short jingle for my new Synthpop Tutorial series on Youtube. It had the potential to become a full song so it basically evolved from those initial 10 seconds of happy, go lucky synth thing. Lots of Nexus2, Roland XP-80, JV-880, Yamaha XS7, TX-816, TX81z and Motifrack. Crack open a Coke and chew on some bubblegum! ;)
