Milan based heavyweight LENNYMENDY teams up with fellow Italian party-starter, Lunar for an uncompromising house cut that is steeped in drama on Dirty Dutch Digital. Speckled with influence from dub and ragga, “Jungle Trip” has a distinct and confident attitude with plenty of swagger and fire in its soul.
Oozing tension right from the start, the track opens with spine-tingling synth lines, military sounding drum rolls and grumbling bass. The melodies at the breakdown sound like a horn-led call to arms before it suddenly lurches into its dub-infused, bass-driven assault. The bass is deep, tough and driving whilst the synths soar with unchecked aggression and power. The 4/4s remain a constant and pushing force throughout a track that takes hold o0f your mind as much as it does your feet. You can almost feel a sense of danger in this track, yet your instinct is always to come closer and experience the drama from its very core.
