No. 47 in our guest mix series sees Bristol-based Belters take the stage. Across the last year, Miles has shaped Belters into one of the most wholesome platforms about, placing the support of emerging musical talent firmly at the forefront of the Mag. Belters’ stunning mix and free DL series supports producers and DJs from Bristol and further afield. However, it’s Belters’ ‘Slices of the Week’, ‘Bargain Bin Stealz’ and the outrageous ‘Certi Warheadz V/A’ that supplement the platform with a personal touch. 

Miles’ guest mix reflects Belters’ wub-centric aesthetic with a 60 minute journey through two-step, breaks and electro with glimpses of UK funky and percs. Some absolute favourites from the family in this 1 including tracks from  Myledo, Longeez, Z. James, Phasmid and our very own Saucebag. If you’ve had the pleasure of chatting to Miles you’ll know his door is always open to demos and that Belters is an act worth booking this year!

Across the past year Lila has become more and more involved in supporting local talent right here in Leeds. When she’s not curating residencies at Hyde Park Book Club, Lila co-runs both Deep Fry and Brain Dance, the collaborative night between HPBC and Eiger Studios.

Having played at SUBDUB, Keep Hush x ORBS, Dance More as well as supporting Bicep at Headrow House, there’s no doubt that Lila has quickly become a staple of the Leeds scene. And her GAB guest mix shows why!
