'With a mission statement to spread "full-energy progressive sounds to a global audience", SHAZZE is an artist with a culturally diverse background. From Indian roots and a life spent largely in the UK, his graduation from the London Sound Academy has subsequently seen him flourish with performances at London's Ministry of Sound and EGG LDN. Furthermore, a production career that began in early 2021 has quickly led to releases on Einmusika, BeatFreak, UV, and ICONYC. Making his Perspectives Digital debut in December 2022 with his his hit track "Lucy", SHAZZE returns to the label with a new single titled "No Time To Waste".

"No Time To Waste" is full of driving Melodic Techno character as a 16th note bassline and syncopated synth phrase add immediate urgency. Quickly hitting its stride via a smooth melodic lead and growling bass note, light vocal phrasing adds a further layer of intrigue and spine-tingling emotion. A superbly imagined breakdown creates a powerful zenith before melodic prowess and driving rhythmic force return in the second half to dynamic effect.

With a string of successful releases in 2023 and a Beatport #1 hit to his name, Nihil Young has consistently found himself dining at dance music's top table with his self-confessed "expressive and captivating soundscapes". Spotify success has followed with more than 250,000 monthly listeners and over 10 million streams for his tracks "Don't Give Up", "Say", and "Hey Now". For his long-awaited return on Perspectives, Nihil's reworking of "No Time To Waste" is a smooth, Progressive House gem. Through a rolling percussive top-line and effortless bass groove, the remix intelligently uses the central themes and vocal phrasing of SHAZZE's original while changing the key and creating a spellbinding work. Exploding into life in the second half, a staccato bassline pattern adds dancefloor brio in an impressive and imaginative version of the track.

Far Distance are the final artists to showcase their dynamic production credentials. Spanning almost a decade dating back to a debut in mid-2014, the Spanish duo's blend of Progressive House and Melodic House & Techno has seen them feature on a panoply of high-profile imprints that include Einmusika, Eleatics, Dear Deer, and Astral Records. Their "Stardust" EP in late 2021 brought notable success on Perspectives Digital before "Alfa Centauri" continued that success a year later. Now returning for their 5th release on Darin Epsilon's label, the Far Distance rework brilliantly retains the central melodic motif of the original mix while framing it within a powerful new rhythmic foundation and crisp percussive shell. Building with consummate ease to a rousing mid-point denouement, their version elevates "No Time To Waste" to a club banger before striking bass and familiar melodic patterns return to see out a hypnotic final movement.'

ODTD051 marks the Øddity debut of in-demand melodic techno titan Olivier Giacomotto. Renowned for high quality productions allied to a complete dedication to his craft, Olivier has recent releases and remixes on Atlant, Spectrum, Radikon, Einmusika and his own label Definitive. There’s been a lot of excitement around Olivier lately - on the evidence of these two new stunning tracks its easy to see why.

Leading the way is title track ‘Empty Space’. Setting an urgent driving 4/4 pace right from the start Olivier displays total understanding of the key elements needed to get the dance-floor locked in. Deep pulsating bass and dramatic percussive crashes create a heightened sense of anticipation, before cool fx ridden vox and a jagged arp attack lead to the momentous breakdown. From here Olivier cranks the intensity dial up to 11 right through to the end.

One of the most exciting newcomer acts to emerge from Israel’s flourishing house scene over the past couple of years, Komashov has been breezing through career milestones at impressive speed since launching his discography in 2022. Gracing some of the most influential labels on the circuit including Abracadabra and Monaberry, the home-grown Tel Aviv talent now marks his debut release for Miami-based label and events brand Hurry Up Slowly with his majestic, three-track ‘Wama’ EP.

Rife with organic and world music sensibilities, Komashov’s fresh extended player straddles the club and at-home listening spaces with ease. Opening with its title track ‘Wama’, Komashov elicits pure danceability with a masterfully blended arrangement of softly driven percussion and emphatic synth hits. Woven between his alluring melodic riffs and ethnic-leaning vocal line are an impeccable array of synth intricacies, which pay homage to the organic sentiments we’ve come to know and love from his output. 

‘Podiya’ plays next; an intoxicating slice of Afro-house that puts his productions talents front and centre. Offsetting his world music elements against classic piano chord progressions, Komashov finds the sweet spot between a multitude of genres, landing on a sound that is veritably his own. 

Last but by no means least, the EP’s third and final offering takes the form of ‘Maka’. Presenting us with another heady listening experience, Komashov breeds rhythmic gold for his closing cut as he journeys through anthemic apex moments and stripped-back breaks with refined subtlety.

A staple on the likes of Monaberry and Abracadabra, Komashov’s ‘Wama’ EP follows his globally-acclaimed single ‘Mayoko’ in November of 2023 and marks the first in a series of releases set for the coming months. An established name on the club and festival circuit, Komashov has shared the stage with some of dance music’s biggest names, including Marco Carola, Guy Gerber, Blond:ish, Damian Lazarus and Jan Blomqvist to name a few. With a truly original sound profile that transcends the notion of genres, he is quickly becoming one of the most exciting artists to follow on the melodic house circuit across Europe, the Middle East and beyond.

What a massive two track release from label owners Glenn Morrison & Brian Cid. Hypnotic atmospheric underground house music is the name of the game here and just in time for the Miami Music Conference 2015. 'The Flute' has an extremely hypnotic flute riff; very free spirited and modal which carry beautifully with the hypnotic groove underneath. 'Tulum' is fitting with the Middle Eastern motif with desert grooves, shimmering melodies, and enchanted arpeggiations. This is an expertly crafted EP from two musicians who have been around the block for a long time. Support is coming in heavy from the top jocks including Sasha, Maceo Plex, Loco Dice, Steve Lawler, Danny Tenaglia, Erick Morillo, Luciano, and MANY more. This is a HUGE release !!!!
