About the artist:
From the underground scene of NYC, through the beaches of TuIum to the desert of Burning-Man, Amir have spread the magic of music and yoga while connecting to people from all over the globe. Currently, Amir is located in Israel and working on his original music, which contains spiritual messages from the Vedas (the ancient wisdom of Yoga). 
In addition to words from the Spiritual World, His first single - Purification [The Purr], came out this fall. He is planning a few more exciting releases this winter and spring. Stay tuned.

To celebrate the passing of another beautiful year, we’ve decided to put together a few tracks we love for the 12th edition of Kindisch Steps. 10 exclusive tracks from some of our dearest friends. Jumping right in, Death on the Balcony creates a beautifully melancholic vibe with ‘Our Origins’. Haunting vocal layers and a solid groove make this one an absolute treat. Next Marco Tegui and Israel Vich team up for a bouncy adventure into the dusty old west titled ‘Manan Kanchu’. Modd delivers pure magic once again with ‘Gerda’, picking up steam in the compilation the track plays deep inside enchanted forests, giving off a warm afterhour glow. On remix duties we welcome back Fernando Olaya back to the label. The Colombian artist needs little introduction as we've worked with him several times before, most recently releasing fresh EP's on our Manual Music and Magnitude Recordings imprints. His remix is a little bit more intense and heady. A perfect addition to an already lovely original.

"Amunet " is a pure Progressive House gem , delicate yet hypnotic. The track consists of a 2 minutes long introduction of pads until you reach the groove part, where the bass line and percussion are controlled by slight touches of atmosphere. At the 4 minute mark Morttagua introduces the main pluck melody riff, which is simply majestic, full of color and reflection, which then controls the tracks climax from the get go. Amunet brings extreme texture, chord harmonies, amazing synth work, huge effects and a long 10 minute journey in a true timeless progressive wonder. 

"Erebus" is the tough brother of Amunet. With its hypnotic progressive arps and atmospheres attached to its main body of powerful techno drums and rolling bass lines, Erebus is the real deal, especially for that timeless peak time moment on your dance floor.

Growing up in Australia, Tom Watt had love for all things music. Listening mostly to heavy metal and punk rock, he started playing the guitar at the age of 12. After graduating high school he gained is diploma in sound production, but it wasn't until after he moved to Berlin and attended Fusion Festival for the first time in 2014 that he discovered his love for electronic music.With tracks moving between softer Deep House through to emotive Melodic Techno, it is hard to pin his style down to one genre. Taking influence from artists such as Stephan Bodzin, Maceo Plex and Township Rebellion, Tom hopes to create a sound that moves the listener.

Tom Watt is going to spread some of his work with his Ep 'Certainty', including 'Blueberry', 'Briefly swallowed by a whale', 'Certainty' and 'Chaos Arising', four huge tracks full of power and melodic vibes.

The latest release on Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Simos Tagias back to the label for a brand new EP entitled 'Illumination'. The Greek artist has become a mainstay of label roster with this being his tenth appearance. As one of the most recognized names in progressive house, the Athens resident has showcased his music on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Cid Inc's Replug Records, Beatfreak Recordings and Sound Avenue. Now fresh off a remix for Praveen Achary's Juicebox Music, Simos makes a welcome return to Movement Recordings with a new EP alongside a remix from James Trystan.

Beginning with the title and showcase piece 'Illumination'' Simos crafts a proper slice of astral techno. Tough beats, electric rhythms and raspy stabs begin the nine minute journey. Senses heighten as elastic designs and cosmic effects unite across a devilish first act. Percussive flurries and metallic melodies further advance the narrative, flowing effortlessly into a dramatic break. Sinister in tone, the interlude saturates your senses with a cascading lead theme, opening up with each successive loop, before reaching an exhilarating crescendo. The companion piece 'Kabul' follows a similar sonic ethos, making it a perfect complement to its predecessor. Sitting at the heart of the piece is a tightly wound groove and distinctive percussive narrative. Ominous and intriguing, it's arcane nature is inviting as growling swells, astral arps and subtle vocal fragments make for an incredibly heady journey. The storyboard becomes fully realized in the main break, melting down to a cosmic collage, before waves of beats and percussion spark a powerful third act.

The lone interpretation of 'Illumination' is provided by James Trystan who makes his label debut. The UK artist continues to be one of the melodic techno scenes most steadfast producers, having racked up an impressive string of discography credits, most notably for Bedrock, Eleatics, Steyoyoke and Suara. Now making his first appearance on Movement Recordings, James provides a powerful rendition of 'Illumination'. Always a creative remixer, James reinvents the main elements into something decidedly more poignant, sitting as an ideal complement to the original. Atop a muscular groove, comes buzzing synths and hypnotic arps. It's unique contrast of grit and shimmer results in a remarkable sonic marriage, one which makes for a hugely energetic yet quite tasteful journey, elegantly peaking through a dramatic break, before a buzzing final act puts a cap on this cosmic gem. A stunning remix from James which rounds out a hugely successful return to Movement Recordings for Simos Tagias.

His distinctive style and attention to detail marks him out, as having unique creative talent. For the full-length release, we are treated to stunning reworks from non-other than Marius Drescher & Schwarzmatt. We kick things off with original track, which brings a fusion of deep bass tones, subtle drum programming and cleverly chopped samples and intricately weaved chord progressions, building to a beautiful breakdown before gradually rebuilding the elements to an unrelenting crescendo of breathy drum licks, chord stabs and an ever-warped bassline to close out this massive production. Cool stuff! First up on remix duty we see the debut of Berlin maestro Marius Drescher on ICONYC. He delivers a blissful sound journey, oozing of coolness, accentuated by warm pads that feel like a silky blanket of sonic spheres, which wrap you into an alluring soundscape without losing the energy of the original. The second remix comes from Swiss production combo Schwarzmatt whose releases have been doing the business on the dance floors of the world. Their remix flows with ease from the instant it starts, encapsulating a wealth of cool beats which are present throughout, as well as driving sounds that are met with a big low end creating a timeless bubbler that will make you move. Schwarzmatt have taken the essence of the original and wrapped it in a blanket of progressive grooves to cause havoc with your senses.
