Parra for Cuva’s new album Juno contains sounds from around the world yet it was almost entirely produced within the four walls of the artist’s studio in Berlin. That’s the beauty of the 21st century though, one barely has to leave a room to travel far and wide and be inspired by distant places and peoples. Juno takes this global exploration even further with the influence of seven musicians and their different instruments.

As expected, Innellea serves up exciting, forwarding thinking sonics; working the rising melody lines and Indian flute samples of the original around fizzling electronic-edged beats and a pulsating driven atmosphere of power that he brings to all his productions!

Innellea dims the warmth by adding hardcore techno and accelerated beats to the single. "My interpretation of "Her Entrance" was shaped by the desire for extensive and intense club nights. Therefore I decided to adapt the mysterious mood of the original track and to add dynamic hi-hats and driving basslines to create a dancefloor-oriented interpretation," says the producer.

Matador is one of techno's most prolific and assured artists, producing everything from stripped back minimal to powerful main room sounds. For this one he works with Italian outfit Meduza, who have been behind some of the biggest house records and most sultry tunes of the last few years such as their global hit "Piece of Your Heart”, and have signed to Defected, Anjunadeep and Virgin amongst others across the spectrum of dance music. The last piece of the puzzle for this one is Artche from Newcastle in the UK. His music brings real freshness to house and techno thanks to his own dark vocal style and has come on labels like Pryda Presents and Bedrock amongst others. Now, all three of these artists impress once more.

Just A Feeling is an emotive and deep techno cut with standout synth craft. The mid-tempo drums are heavy and set a moody late night vibe as sweeping synths reach up to the stars and a whispered vocal brings epic emotion. This tune will make a spine-tingling impact on all who hear it. An instrumental and acapella are also included, but the original with the vocal is sure to become anthemic.

Based out of Hamburg, Lampé goes in commando style on his debut contribution to the Stil vor Talent fold, 'Transmission'. Raiding the dancefloor with a pair of hard-nosed churners set to whip up ravers into a frenzy, the German producer puts on the afterburners and doesn't intend to slow down one bit. Written during the pre-touring season of 2023, there's a solid pair of DJ-friendly assets for the busy season ahead.

All in pressurized volatility and steel-clad punch, the lead single unfolds a contrasted sequencing, swinging moods and rhythms as the bass-heavy pressure makes itself more menacing with every bar. From a stealth, passive-aggressive early buildup to a fun-loving second half focussing on the epicness of the gated vox chatter and elastic synthwaves, Lampé serves up an absolute treat of a peak-time weapon, zeroed in on submerging dance floors with its powerhouse engineering of uptempo drive and cavernous punch.

In the producer's own admission a track built to ease the raver from a nightly scenario into a sun-drenched setup, 'Pressurized' oscillates "between dark and bright with a hypnotic and easy groove". Percolating a zesty mix of heavy-traction electro swagger and industrial techno gone astray, the track shifts gears with seamless panache, stacking up energy to better fire it back across the room. A choice first transmission that astutely surfs the edge between total club sweep-up and playful 90s-style exhalations.

Continuing their love of collaborations, Township Rebellion return to Truesoul with another sublime two-track outing, this time teaming with the rising Flanko.

German collective Township Rebellion have been in plum form in recent times, their two contributions to Truesoul ‘Bohemia / Mephisto’ and ‘Expand Now / Adriana Said’ produced alongside Victor Pilava and NoNameLeft respectively were proof in point. On the live front, they also delivered a strong performance at Drumcode’s Drumsheds show in March on the Truesoul stage. It’s been exciting to see them develop and become mainstays of the label.

Their latest offering sees them broaden their sonic palette, as their signature rolling progressive sound, rubs shoulders with darker techno realms via a link up with their friend Flanko, a producer with credits on Senso and Set About to his name.

‘Your Reality’ is a big barrelling ace, six minutes of enveloping synth layers, dreamy vocal clips and pummelling bass. This is beauty and power in full motion. Stunning. ‘My Prophecy’ is another delicious juxtaposition of dark and light, as organic bass and gritty techno drums find harmony alongside exquisite melodies, all topped off by the producers’ exquisite sound design.

And we always loved the moment of surprise of bringing harder techno into our sets. This appreciation is what formed our series of collaborative releases on Truesoul. Astral Records continues a strong spring season by welcoming Against All Ødds back to the label for a new EP. Hailing from Israel and previously known as Mimram, Against All Ødds emerged in 2022 on the strength of past releases via Freegrant Music, Timeless Moment and Parquet Recordings. The Against All Ødds production moniker was introduced to the world via Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital as part of the label's 'Around The World' compilation series. Immediately recognized for his astral take on melodic house and techno, the Jerusalem resident would go on to record projects for Beatfreak, Lost On You, Panda Lab and UV Noir, in turn earning praise from the genre's premiere tastemakers. Also finding a home on Astral Records, Against All Ødds would make his label debut with 'Higher Ground', a two-track showcase alongside a remix from Grigoré which capped off an impressive year for the Israeli artist. Now, following a single for Fideles Impressum imprint to begin 2024, Against All Ødds returns to Astral with 'Reflections'. The EP's title selection 'Reflections' sets the pace and lands with many of Against All Odds' beloved production hallmarks. Tight kick drums and neatly manicured percussion provide a DJ friendly intro, as rhythmic pulses set the course for the bassline to deliver a rush of free-flowing energy. Cruising effortlessly across the first act, it's an amalgamation of sci-fi vocal samples and wonky synth mutations which adds further depth and character, a vibe which is sure to cast a prophetic mood over the dance floor. The Israeli artist's elusive vision shines during the main break, as he maintains a sense of restraint and tension that astute fans will appreciate, before robotized vocals spark a dynamic moment and strong synth driven finale. Rounding out the release are the driving qualities of 'Lights Out', a track where Against All Ødds aims squarely at a peak hour dancefloor. Marrying the classic and contemporary sounds of the genre, the Israeli artist crafts an aesthetic that is groovy, powerful and effortlessly cool, one that balances a loud-soft dynamic perfectly. Holographic synths flash through a whirlwind of rebounding rhythms and coral monochromes across a smooth first movement, as emotion continues to rise during the interlude, before a series of haunting vocal fragments and reverent textures meet highly explosive beats and heavy basslines for a thunderous finale.

The spectrum covered within the 6 pieces ranges between dancefloor hymns with driving drum sections to catchy vocal hooklines with pop ascendents. Thematically every songs stands for another individual observation of the times at hand. If it's the definition of what it means to be human in an era of rising robotic minds, the widely spread distress of keeping up without knowing if there's a finish line to cross behind the horizon or the supposedly basic question of where to live the good life, Jonas does not pretend to have an answer. But he invites you to take the journey through these foggy passages together. These are questions everyone of us has buried in the back of our heads and this is why it's even more important to openly share the feeling of uncertainty to feel less alone in the age of ‚Acceleration'.

In 2015 Artbat made a loud statement and asserted themselves with a ‘Mandrake’ EP released on Definition:Music. The very first effort from this Ukrainian electronic project resulted in critical acclaim and warm reception by the local and foreign audience. It&#39;s powerful, full-bodied and hypnotizing sound won respect from many DJs of worldwide fame, including Umek, Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtin and Sasha.

Artbat was formed by two experienced deejays and producers from Kiev - Artur and Batish. Their portfolio builds upon a series of about 10 successful releases that charted globally and conquered numerous dancefloors all over the world. Such tracks as ‘Mandrake’, ‘Saltation’ and ‘Chivvy’, released by Definition:Music, paved their way to the international popularity. Though their major step forward – a release on Diynamic Records run by a world star DJ Solomun - is yet ahead.

Aside from Artbat’s popularity, the sheer amount of gigs in their tour schedule has skyrocketed too. Their DJ sets always deliver a wall of unrestrained energy and musical revelation. Artur and Batish fancy surprising their public with brand new releases, IDs and white-labels, unpredictable tracks and exclusive promos – their live shows can be compared to sharing and receiving in return.

In Summer 2016 Artbat’s touring geography has expanded not only along the ranks of the best Ukrainian clubs, but successfully extended the nightlife world capital and club epicenter Ibiza. The Ukrainian electronic duo’s name has frequently appeared on the lineup at the Destino night club.

The multi-instrumentalist, singer, producer and performer from Berlin mixes the two genres into a hypnotic hybrid. Ben is one of dance music’s brightest stars, 25 year old Berlin producer and live act has had a monumental year. Following releases on Anjunadeep and his own Ton Töpferei label, he's been named as one of Billboard Magazine’s `Ones To Watch`.

After a successful festival summer (Burning Man, Lightning in a Bottle, Fusion and many more), Monolink started his tour -  for the first time with three-headed band on the stage - mid November. All dates of that tour are completely sold out already.

One of the most talked about remixes of 2019 gets an official release as Camille Luciani’s stunning rework of The Temper Trap’s 2008 global hit ’Sweet Disposition’ comes out on Renaissance Records / BMG on 13 December. 

Camille Luciani, one of France’s brightest new dance talents, creates a stirring and highly atmospheric update of the Australian indie rock outfit’s seminal 2008 anthem, which has achieved cult status in recent years, featuring in the film ‘(500) Days of Summer’ and clocking over 260 million streams on Spotify alone. 

“I’d been a fan of the band for more than 10 years”, explains Camille, “Their music was always there for me; one day I just decided to give them something in return and chose Sweet Disposition, which is a timeless track that I always wanted to bring my vision to. So, initially it was more for fun than an official release. It was only after sending it to Dougy and Lorenzo - the band themselves - that things began to develop. I’m delighted it’s now getting an official release.” 

The remix takes the listener on an emotional journey, emphasising the brooding percussion alongside clever layering of the blissful vocal. The poignant piano refrain and swirling, intense beats result in a beautiful, yet powerful reinvention, perfect for peak-time dance-floors, which has already received many ID requests on social media. Major support has come from globally-renowned duo Tale Of Us who have played it as their closing track on many of the world’s biggest stages, including Printworks London, Gashouder Amsterdam and Ushuaïa Ibiza, each time receiving a euphoric, ‘hands in the air’ crowd reaction.
