About the Ep:

JEUDI’s 2018 is coming with high energy. We were working hard with our JEUDI artists to line up a series of releases for the first quarter of this year. The new years premier will also be the label debut of the Argentinian artists Brigado Crew joining forces with Crisstiano. Their voodoo power 2 tracker we believe is exactly what you need to refreshen your body and soul for a clean start into the new year. Known for their absolute magical “Zulu” on Diynamic last year the upcoming “Gandul EP is the logical conclusion of the story of these talented guys. 


“Gandul” is defining what the productions of Brigado Crew & Crisstiano stand for in a perfect manner: Their unique blend of deep house connects with the power of techno. “Gandul” with it’s peaking dense percussion heavy drop was one of the most sought after tracks in our recent sets. 

We love to play very dynamic sets and “Sabana” is the perfect tune not to get lost in transition. A deep tribal approach yet with a heavy LFO driven bass line shaking you to the core.

Release Info: 
In February 2018, ARTBAT are bringing their first full EP release to Diynamic Music. The three-tracker “Planeta” starts off with the title track “Planeta”, a rapid-fire techno odyssey that might as well be taken from a relentless pursuit in a futuristic action movie.

This is followed by the gloomy bassline of “Prometheus”. Heavy on percussive elements, the track is divided in half by a cascading synth-break only to return with more layers of percussions, strings and the hypnotic bassline.

Closing off the EP is “Sand In Your Shoes” featuring London based artist Dino Lenny, who has previously worked with Madonna or Wu-Tang Clan and produced remixes for Underworld, Missy Elliot or Timbaland. The collab track is a dreamy Deep-House tune and a perfectly emotive way to finish the record.

Denis Horvat returns to Afterlife Recordings for a second EP of distinctive, dancefloor productions.

A year after ‘Modelo’ comes ‘Miracle Of The Rose’, an evocative and authentic development of Horvat’s sound. On ‘Noise’, the vocals of Lelah give way to a stripped-down, reverberant groove. The title track rises with a free-flowing melody before dropping a tough, angular beat. ‘Divin’ is the EP’s deepest cut, before digital only track ‘Royale’ rounds off this diverse release with flair.

'Returning to Sprout is the amazing Marcus Meinhardt with Rabbit Hole featuring a classy remix from Stereo Express. 

Ever the musical butterfly, Meinhardt makes music that defies genre classification and oozes sophistication. Signed to a disparate array of labels from Kittball to Micro.Fon, he's always in the boxes of the big ticket DJs and never fails to impress. 'Rabbit Hole' opens in fine form with sparse percussion and a bubbling bass line making way for intricate melodic patterns. Growing organically tension builds towards the break with Vangelis-like layers of synthwork adding a futuristic 80s feel. Following Colyn’s standout track on the Realm Of Consciousness Pt.IV compilation, we see the full breadth of his scope as a producer on his first EP for the label.

The soaring synth lines and vocal of title track ‘Resolve’ are a bold statement, worthy of the most epic moments in a DJ set. ‘Eriador’ is comparatively restrained, with gently rolling drums and unusual flourishes. ‘Exchange’ and ‘Gravity’ distil euphoric elements into deeply moving techno cuts to fit the Afterlife mould.

Premiere: The Temper Trap - Sweet Disposition (Camille Luciani Dub Mix) [Renaissance]

Booka Shade open the New Year on home imprint Blaufield Music as they deliver their latest EP ‘Dear Future Self’ alongside spoken word artist and poet Lazarusman.

As we enter the start of another decade, German producers, live act and label bosses Booka Shade continue remain at the forefront of the melodic house and techno landscape, armed with their ever-evolving live set up, releases via legendary labels including John Digweed’s Bedrock, Suara and their own blossoming Blaufield Music, and stand- out performances at the likes of Amsterdam Dance Event, Brunch In The City, and Boiler Room’s very first Warehouse event in the Middle East at The Grid, Dubai. Having spent the closing half of 2019 at work in the studio and on the road to shape and curate a variety of musical projects, January welcomes the first in a series releases as the duo deliver a medley of original cuts in the form of their ‘Dear Future Self EP’, including a collaboration with South African artist Lazarusman, dropping ahead of a yet to be announced project on the label in the year ahead.

Hypnotic and warping from the off, ‘Dear Future Self’ balances wandering, off-kilter lead synths with refined percussion and Lazarusman’s ever-mesmerising lyrics, with the ‘Club Mix’ mix laying the focus on acid-tinged leads whilst the ‘Extended Mix’ harnesses deeper, soaring textures. Second original ‘Atlantic Beam’ engages rolling, organic percussion amongst sweeping melodies and blossoming stabs to reveal a rich journey through builds and breaks, offering an impressive first glimpse into a much bigger project still yet to come... stay tuned.
