Juicebox Music's 73rd release welcomes back foglight for his debut 2-track EP featuring "Reformer" & "Circuit Valley". The Lebanese artist made his initial appearance on our imprint through a special remix of ARTN's "Lopos" earlier this year. Better known to his friends and family as Gerome Mouawad, as well as having success under the name 'Gerome' in the Trance community, his new alias 'foglight' aimed to explore the deeper side of progressive while still experimenting with his technical wizardry. Having released on Mango's 'Mango Alley', Paul Hazendonk's 'MNL', Jelly For The Babies' 'One of A Kind' & Bondarev's 'WARPP', foglight's discography showcases his focus on quality over quantity. For his latest offering on our imprint, foglight delivers "Reformer" & "Circuit Valley", a pair of club-focused tracks with tech-inspired drums, gritty bassline sequences, subtle melodics, granular fx & a whole lot of finesse. Label-boss Praveen Achary returns to Juicebox Music for a special appearance after his small break from producing. Striving to create something that sounds different from the norm & different from each production, Praveen's work on Juicebox Music has always had a slight edge, whether it's his remixes of Simos Tagias' "Black Swan" or Eric Lune's "Wooden Bird" or even his "Fiasco" collaboration with Aman Anand. Praveen Achary's re-envisions foglight's "Circuit Valley" to create a collage of moments from hypnotic to groovy, chunky to driving and dark to light.

2015 saw Stephan Bodzin release his second full length, “Powers of Ten”, as well as a new single on DJ Tennis’ and Tale of Us’ taste making label Life and Death. The album is another magical piece of work that focuses on melody and rhythm, on fat bass and vivid sound design and is a truly captivating journey through the mind, music, body and soul of one of dance music’s truly modern greats. After its release, a great team of modern music makers was enlisted to remix tracks from it: Maceo Plex & Shall Ochin, Fur Coat, Extrawelt, long time musical sparring partner Marc Romboy, Pan-Pot, Max Cooper, Agents of Time, Dominik Eulberg and many more all contributed to what is an essential collection. With a remix of ‘Sleepless’, a Pan-Pot track from their latest album, Stephan Bodzin closed the latest chapter of 2015 in what has been an exhilarating musical journey in his capable and creative hands.

Having been on the scene for over a decade, Wehbba has actually released a ridiculous amount of music. Labels like Tronic, 82 Recordings and Systematic have acted as a home for the artist but his forthcoming work on Padley's is some of our favourite to date.

The title track does the business but fellow Brazilian ANNA has served up the remix and it's more of the excellent same we've come to expect from the chart-topping producer. ANNA's seemingly got the golden touch and when she's not climbing the Beatport charts she's getting booked all over the world.

We're delighted to present you a snippet from the EP in the form of a full premiere of 'Mesoplodon' - this is an epic cut, a pulsating eight and a half minute trip along an underwater highway. Living in Cologne, Peter is mostly known for his collaborations with Marcus Worgull on Innervisions. His own musical infuences can easily be traced to his club socialization in the 90ies.

Darin Epsilon's label Perspectives Digital returns for the fourth consecutive year with its massively popular ‘MMW & WMC Sampler'.  The 2017 edition continues the tradition of showcasing some of the finest talent in the industry.  

The first selection of the series is provided by DJ's Roma Rone and Igor Ri9or.  blaktone is a brand new music project from Saint-Petersburg and their music is a symbiosis of progressive and techno sounds.  Ri9or is no stranger to the electronic music scene with releases on labels such as Balkan Connection, Bonzai Progressive, Visceral, and Pangea Recordings.  blaktone's ‘Aurora' teases the listener with threads of atmospheric sweeps but quickly launches into commanding force with its dark and gnarly bassline.

Teaming up for the second selection is Hasan Mogol and Be Morais.  German producer Hasan Mogol has been creating an array of hypnotizing, crowd-pleasing sounds for over ten years.  Brazilian producer and co-owner of Not Another Music, Be Morais, is rapidly establishing himself as a respected artist with his steady stream of works on Stripped Recordings, Dear Deer, and Slideways.  Hasan and Be Morais' collaboration on ‘Awkward Dance' crafts an undeniably industrious and sinister vibe with its pounding kick, haunting bassline and grimy chords. 

Next up is Kamilo Sanclemente making his third appearance on the label. The Colombian producer maintains his masterful discography on imprints such as Einmusika, Baroque, and Mistique Music.  He's a staple on the Progressive House charts and a constant presence in Hernan Cattaneo's charts and ‘Resident' radio show.  Kamilo's offering titled ‘The White City' pushes the listener into a spellbinding state with its vigorous layers of percussion and eerie vocal samples.

Completing the series is Hungarian producer Paul Kardos.  Paul's impactful debut on Perspectives titled ‘The Other' was instrumental to the success of the ‘2016 ADE Sampler' last October.  Paul brings his signature blend of melodic techno and contemporary progressive house with his newest production. In ‘Ancient Astronaut', the dominating groove and whimsical chords continuously build, creating relentless tension that satisfies in the third act with a dramatic finish.

Cid Inc's 2016 'State of Everything' EP marked a welcome return to his critically acclaimed Replug Records imprint. While focusing on material for Guy J's Lost & Found Records and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, it ended what was a two year hiatus from original projects on his home label. Following a nomination as Beatport's best progressive house artist for 2016, the new year began in spectacular fashion with a remix of 'Pan-O-Rama' by Roger Martinez, also coming courtesy of Replug Records. Delightfully driving and devilishly hypnotic the rework sits as the Finnish artist's lone production of the year. As Cid Inc. has continued to travel the globe pushing his progressive minded sound, anticipation has grown for his first original project of 2017. Once again the stars have aligned for a return to Replug as he now presents his latest artist showcase entitled 'Shifter'.

While distinctive in both cadence and design the Cid Inc sound is ever-evolving, proving his musical talent knows no boundaries. Played out over four stylistically diverse compositions the collection begins with the peak time opus and title cut 'Shifter'. Electrically charged with thumping kicks and rising rhythmic structures it's energetic intensity swarms over a four minute first act. As the beats fade into the main break buzzing synths and spine tingling pads converge for a minute of unadulterated bliss, before getting washed away into a killer drop. 

Emotive and cinematic in equal measure, the fluid energy continues with 'Wanderer'. It's delicate framework is inspired, elusive yet charming, mesmerizing with each successive loop as percussive details fill in the storyboard. Melancholic chords rise into the second act as the groove remains locked, before the synth euphoria gets engulfed by a static wave and it's bubbly effervesce carries you home. 

Taking the journey into more emotive territory 'Arcane Thoughts' entices both the heart and mind. Exceptionally developed groove aesthetics make for a pulsating framework while Cid Inc's musical imagination takes you on an expressive ride. Vivid melodies invite you into this impassioned beauty which eases wonderfully into the EP's 

Every Cid Inc project is met with much anticipation and 'Shifter' proves to be his most creative and stylistically diverse EP to date. Highly sought after and just in time for the summer festival season, the much loved artist has perhaps raised the bar yet again.
