The ‘Realm Of Consciousness’ voyage commences with Tale Of Us’ Lies - a fitting introduction with
quivering keys and restrained percussion that engenders an ominous suspense ahead of Monoloc’s
enigmatic industrial techno crunch, Phoenix. Shifting through the haunting chords of Recondite’s dynamic
Murphy’s Law, to the brooding synth of Poseidon by Ukrainian duo Woo York, the realisation of Afterlife
utopia is upon us. The repetitive, mesmerising synth and effective reverb that Somne creates with Triangle
is an odyssey within itself. From there, John Hester’s expertly woven ‘Logan’ is a feverish techno stab that
transverses through the emotional senses, transitioning to Locked Groove’s adroitly crafted Emeralds, to
Ryan James Ford’s ambient, albeit percussive, techno cut Toree Bahrstad. Die Wiederkehr is the outcome
of Obscure Shape & SHDW’s collaboration, which incorporates facets of techno and trance that have
been shaped with real guile and finesse. Mind Against round off the compilation with Gravity - a
mystifying ambience and a fitting title as we touch back down to planet earth.

Spanish DJ/Producer and Fayer label boss Edu Imbernon released his new single Bitter Fate on July 4th, complete with a remix from Venezuelan duo, Fur Coat.

Having already established himself as one of Spain’s most revered homegrown DJ/producers over the last five years, Bitter Fate is a testament to Edu’s slick, ever-maturing sound. Centered around a hazy, mellow vocal, the track builds across seven minutes of rolling, balearic grooves and bright, glistening melodies that feel perfectly geared towards the incoming summer season. 
  
Sergio Munoz and Israel Sunshine, better known as Fur Coat, then turn in their own darker, rolling rework to give the track a new dynamic for the floor. Built around a dark, pulsating bassline and haunting male vocals, their edit feels both near-hypnotic and infectious, serving as an excellent addition to Edu’s original mix.

Edu Imbernon - Bitter Fate (Fur Coat Remix) [Fayer]

This time, Johannes Brecht has taken hold of his own original and offered his individual take on the piece. His classical training and a sharp ear for sound shine brightly all the way through.

The 'Voix Grave' release is out on November 18 and will offer the original as well as individual reinterpretations from both Johannes Brecht and Christian Prommer.

This artist stands out for his personal take on techno and deep house, and this new release on Straight AHEAD music certainly affirms his amazing production skills and great qualities ad a studio Techhouse producer. This release will be published in October 2017, and it will actually feature 4 brand new songs, including two original tracks and two remixes. The first song, “Definition”, gives its name to the EP and it stands out for its dense beat and gripping atmospheres. The arrangements are sparse, yet lavish and rich, with many layers of harmonies and melodies adding something more to the mix on various layers. As a result, the production feels kaleidoscopic and balanced, going for a diverse and personal blend of sound. On the other hand, Cielo, keeps the pace going, enhancing the rhythm and thickening the sonic layers. The remixed versions, curated by Boss Axis and by Peter Juergens, offer a whole different take on these melodies, with punchier drums and a very original arrangement.

Release Info: 
Giorgia Angiuli, the globetrotting Italian, who has previously released on labels including Stil Vor Talent, Kindisch and Suara, is known for her innovative and outstanding live sets and her skills as a mutli-instrumentalist. 

The title track, for which the famous Eugenia Barone contributed the double bass, is backed with a remix from label boss Marc Romboy. Both have a slightly progressive air with Romboy adding some percussive drive and more presence in the main synth line. 

Giorgia's second original, Royal Breath, takes us deeper with its playful vocal cuts and mighty bassline whereas Multiverso, the fourth and final track, spreads a darker atmosphere with spacey vocal layers and synth sequences.
