The mastermind behind the label, Definition himself returns with a massive new solo release, Falling EP. With his last solo release nearly a year back, one look at the tracklist gives us an idea why; 5 new and exclusive works – quality takes time.

The title track opens the EP in a deep and melodic landscape burning low and steady. The vocal cuts bring an ethereal vibe as the synths crescendo and the kick beats on.

Next Dimitri shows us another side, ‘Tulipe Noir’ engages us in an electric fantasy full of swirling arpeggios cloaked in retro vibes. The collaboration with his friend Def:Play spends a tribute to an old Soul, which introduced them and kicked off the start for a beautiful friendship. A beautiful adventure right from the begin, thanks to a stunning arrangement and a knack for flow.

‘Emotions’ drops us in a world of deep heavy kicks with tense air between them. The pads rise. The reason for our journey is clear as the floor throbs with bass. But that’s not all, the waters get warmer, and the sun does shine, if only briefly.

Turning up the groove, ‘Gone’ melts the tension with a smooth groove and a solid drive. By the middle of the track, we’re caught with a contagious rhythm and natural swing.

The final track of the EP is perhaps its warmest – a beautiful break-beat adventure fantastically vocalized by Liu Bei. ‘Rise Again’ is that upbeat catchy summer tune you just can’t get enough of – done tastefully and elegantly. A beautiful and warm conclusion to an outstanding EP.

Beginning 2018 by remixing two of the industry's most revered talents in Nick Warren and Jerome Isma-Ae, Cid Inc now presents his first original project of the year. 'Abyss' is the hugely anticipated follow-up to the Finnish artist's chart topping progressive anthem 'Shifter'. A staple in the sets of Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren all throughout 2017, it sat comfortably as one of the genre's best by year's end.

From stripped, punchy beginnings 'Abyss' retains the progressive techno ethos Cid Inc. was instrumental in creating almost a decade ago. Encased in a crisp rhythmic shell, warm bass swells and machine gun cadence drive the foundation. The storyboard evolves with delicate melodic lines and impassioned overlays, eventually melting down into a euphoric break. As the melodies blossom an intensely emotive crescendo is reached as a soulful wail summons a powerful final act.

The companion piece 'From Within' finds Cid Inc. exploring dreamier textures and wistful sonic tapestries. Binding rhythmic flow with distinctive stabs and hypnotic arps makes for a sleek, meditative first act. A perfect prelude of sorts, as tasteful chord
changes summon melancholic motifs and hopeful pads, building subtly as a smooth rush embodies warmth towards a purring finale.

Sitting comfortably in the present, 'Abyss' maintains that timeless flair which embodies Cid Inc's work. Two striking tracks for the impending spring season and no doubt a look ahead to more exceptional music from the Finnish artist.

Here is the second in a string of remixes from Demetrius’ “Black Diamonds” EP. In this case, the
Berlin-based producer, Lunakid, takes the soulful “Sacrifice” into another dimension. The Lunakid
remix finds a compelling contrast with the dark and emotional vocals from Demetrius combined
with the driving Minilogue bassline, eerie drones and quirky sound fx to give the track a new life as
a melodic house burner.
From Lunakid:
“It was an inspiring challenge to mix Demetrius' soulful vocals with dark techno beats. I
mainly used my Korg Minilogue to create the basslines and drones, which became the core
of the remix.”
About Lunakid:
Birth by passion and devotion, LUNAKID was created by Berlin based artist Konstantin Dellos.
Originally Dellos, a punk rocker fueled by whaling guitars and energetic drumming patterns, he
found himself in several bands, thus becoming very active on the music scene. Following the DIY
principle from lessons learned in dirty basement shows and mid sized festivals, Konstantin still
follows this principle in his music and craft today.
Lunakid is a divine electronic being from a parallel world. A world which all people are treated as
divine beings. Upon arrival to our world, Lunakid witnessed the pains and hardships of our earth,
thus creating music that tells the story of the emotional journey that he has witnessed since
arriving. These emotions in return create songs about ones inner self, and ones quest for
truthfulness and authenticity. To experience Lunakid is to reset ones bond with man and ones bond
with nature. This is the one true purpose of Lunakid.
Lunakid's sound is a hybrid of future electronica, mixed with traditional ethnic and organic
elements. Completing the sound is a hint of drones, which gives the listener the mood of depth,
mysticism, meditation and rejuvenation.
About Demetrius:
Originally from New York, Demetrius’s repertoire serves up a soulful, retro take on electronica that
perfectly marries his past and present. Reflecting the electronic mecca of his current hometown
Berlin, as well as his Trinidadian roots with occasional subtle Caribbean inflexions, his material
ranges from melancholic, introspective electronic pop to dramatic synth-driven house through to
mystical, progressive house-meets-techno sounds. He has performed in everything from bands to
operas, choirs and musicals as well as ghostwriting for others. He has also sung backup vocals for
both Elton John and Alicia Keys, and performed and released for years as lead singer of electronic/
alternative band Suntalk — recording at the legendary Electric Ladyland Studios in the process.

DHS premiere: Demetrius - Sacrifice (Lunakid Remix)

Stylo is back to Timeless Moment in a brand new EP in collaboration with Lonya, marking the label debut of one of the most renowned producers in Israel’s scene. 

The first track of the EP is the amazingly unique “Afterhours”, a melodic house track that mixes oriental elements with a driving riff pluck synth line. A male vocal introduce its listeners into an afterhours party vibe while the melodies evolve the groove and the ethnical vocals, creating the ultimate hypnotic vibe. 

Timeless Moment label boss is on charge of the remix duties for Afterhours, transforming the track into a darker progressive house version.  Morttagua makes uses of a powerful rolling bass line together with his unreal use of 4d plucks to transform Afterhours into an immersive peak time weapon. 

To finish off, the Israeli duo presents the deep sensorial vibes of ‘Faisal’, a track that embraces the closing of this EP in Timeless fashion.

Stylo, Lonya - Aftehours (Original Mix) [Timeless Moment] PREVIEW

The return of our comrade Alex Sharp finally sees the light of day with the heavily packed Varna Andha EP, featuring his original record and a collection of pumping remixes by Boy with Boat, Jydn, Purple Pill and Shane Belles.

The title track is everything you can expect from his deep, dark and progressive sound - a rolling, throbbing bassline tied with weaved synth work and haunting, love ballad like vocal.

Boy with Boat then takes full flight and picks up the pace a little with his remix, introducing all new layers of progression, flavour and vibe.

After a short hiatus we have Jydn back in full force to shake things up with his very special rendition that blurs the lines between genres by fusing progressive, melodic and breaks elements to create a truly unique sound and direction.

Hailing from Tel Aviv with our third remix is Purple Pill featuring a stripped back version, a funkier melodic baseline and deep breakdown.

Last but not least is Shane Belles, a young and upcoming emerging name of the scene in Amsterdam, who puts his chuggy progressive touch on the original.
