Release Info: 
Juicebox Music's 62nd release sees Mike Rish's 3-track EP "The Quest", originally released in late 2021, getting a fresh breath of life with a set of remixes. The Melbourne (Australia) based artist made his debut on our imprint with his deep, yet powerful remix of Simos Tagias' "Black Swan and swiftly followed it up with a magnificient release which earned high praises & support. Mike Rish furthered his sonic mark with releases on GMJ & Matter's 'meanwhile' as well as James Beetham's 'Last Night Music'. To celebrate "The Quest" EP, we called upon Kabi, EMPHI, Haen & MONé to rework all three tracks from the EP - "The Quest", "Enter" & "Tuumla".

First up is Buenos Aires (Argentina) based artist - Lucas Khabie aka Kabi, who makes his return to the imprint after his chart-topping "Lost In Roses" EP with K Loveski. His dreamy and club-effective style caught the attention of the progressive community, namely through his body of work on Nick Warren's 'The Soundgarden', Guy Mantzur's 'Plattenbank' & Mango's 'Mango Alley', to name a few. Releasing quality over quantity, his attention to detail is evident. For his latest offering, Kabi injects his signature style into Mike Rish's "The Quest", turning it into a deep yet driving interpretation whilst retaining the magical melodic moments.

Brazilian DJ and producer Mind Echoes delivers a stunning two-track EP that encapsulates his hypnotic and emotive sound. Known for releases on esteemed labels like Mango Alley, Comet, and Transensations, Mind Echoes has captivated fans and industry titans alike, with support from legends such as Hernan Cattaneo and Gai Barone. The originals on Unsafe Numbers showcase his signature style, blending driving rhythms with evocative melodies that transport listeners into his sonic universe. Adding a seismic layer of energy to the release, Brazilian maestro Tonaco and Argentine trailblazer Tomas Garcia team up for a powerhouse remix of the title track. Tonaco, a purveyor of deep, melodic grooves, has left his mark on labels like Meanwhile and Genesis Music, while Tomas Garcia brings his unique progressive flair, honed through standout releases on Proportion and Juicebox Music. Together, their remix transforms Unsafe Numbers into an anthem destined to ignite dancefloors. This release marks the final chapter of 2024 for onedotsixtwo. Nikko.Z's Dopamine White opens the new year by welcoming ShemoW to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from the progressive house hotbed of Sri Lanka, ShemoW's passion for music production was sparked after a viewing of the 2015 UMF After Movie trailer, a moment which marked his journey into becoming a DJ and producer. After years of honing his skills, the Rathnapura resident emerged with his first offerings in 2019, a trio of releases which laid the foundation for his future as a progressive house artist. 2024 proved to be the most impactful year, with ShemoW recording projects for 3rd Avenue, Balkan Connection, Kodai and Soundteller, amongst others. Now firmly solidified as a newcomer to watch, ShemoW begins 2025 with his Dopamine White debut ‘Glitchwave'.

The charged progressive vibes of ‘Glitchwave' set the pace for ShemoW's two-track showcase. Beefy kick drums, pulsating grooves and rugged percussion lay the foundation for pyrotechnic synth mutations and orbiting effects to paint an electric storyboard, while an ominous break serves to build tension and anticipation onwards to a thunderous drop and cosmically correct finale.

The second and final selection 'Echoes in the Void' lands with equal dancefloor vigor, as ShemoW flexes his groove crafting prowess across the seven-minute piece. Mystical textures and filtered noise highlight a character-rich top line, as evolving percussive arrangements create a confident club energy leading into the break. Spanning nearly two minutes in length, the interlude melts down to a quiet calm, carefully withholding energy for a peak time conclusion to round out the release on a huge note.
