Widely acclaimed German DJ and producer HOSH has delivered the first in a series of various artist compilations, ‘Become One’. The first of which was curated for and showcased live at the iconic, clubbing mecca of Brazil, Warung Beach Club.

Aimed at drawing the crowd, venue and performer all together forming in synergy, with an artist exploring intimate ties built with different international venues in a way that best exhibits their sound and energy. We begin by connecting HOSH from Fryhide label boss with the first edition on the Atlantic Coast, The iconic Warung Beach Club in Brazil.,A utopia of the dance music community known for euphoric melodic sunrises which have gifted HOSH on many several occasions during his past decade of touring

Each mix will feature a special set, ripe with unreleased material from a diverse collection of artists curated for that timeless moment that will be released as well in 4 EP’s. HOSH has selected a diverse and thoughtful mix of artists to exhibit a modern interpretation on the progressive/melodic techno sound that Warung historically pioneered since the golden days of Global Underground. In today’s disposable, here-today-gone-tomorrow world of Electronic Music, it can, on occasion, feel like there are more DJs, producers & record labels than there are actual clubs and clubbers. It’s a densely populated and over saturated market place, where it’s becoming increasingly difficult to cut through the noise and stand out from the crowd. Unless that is, you know a thing or two about making a name for yourself. 

Step forward Dave Seaman & Steve Parry, Acid house lifers with decades of experience between them who 6 years ago decided to join forces and  embark on another chapter in their illustrious careers by setting up independent label, Selador Recordings. Together they have carved out a reputation as providers of the finest in Melodic House & Techno and many of the subtle shades in between. They stubbornly refuse to be constricted to the kind of niche genre policy many of today’s labels seem to adopt and it’s a formula that has served them well, attracting some of the best producers in the business to rally behind the Seladorian battle cry. 

As the imprint reaches its 100th release, by way of celebration, Dave & Steve have assembled a crack team of producers to tackle a handful of the label’s landmark back catalogue that had not been previously remixed. Until now! Calling on André Hommen, D-Nox & Beckers, Doc Martin, Kotelett & Zadak, Moonwalk and Petar Dundov to reinterpret the collaborative works of Dave & Steve themselves, Gorge & Joeski, Guy Mantzur & Lonya, Cristoph & Quivver and Luke Brancaccio & Tim Healy - it’s a mightily impressive cast. 

A milestone release befitting of the occasion then. A toast to centurion status and to everyone who has shown love and support for the label thus far. Thing is, you can’t help thinking this journey has really only just begun.

‘The Secret Of Eos’ started with one of those special requests: Tale Of Us asked the Italian duo for something special for their weekly opening sets at Hi, Ibiza. The track was delivered and it became a key staple of their sets all summer.

You can instantly hear why; that crisp arpeggio, those lush shimmering pipes, the poignant chords and stunning vocal. A true scene-pace-tone setter, drop this and watch the whole crowd lock-in en masse as they submit to the journey… A journey that can be extended and manipulated to your pleasure thanks to the beatless version which highlights the musical versatility of the track and how it lends itself to any sets in the house/techno/progressive/trance axis.

For the final track of this remarkable EP we head far east for ‘Japan’. A much darker tale told by Daniele Aprile and Mario Roberti, this one firms our focus squarely on that lava-like bassline that morphs, mutates and melts throughout the track, taking us deeper and deeper into Fideles’ signature rabbit hole, to places unchartered.

The Anjunabeats rave resurgence continues, as two of our label stars head deeper into the world of industrial dance music; Genix & Grum see ‘The Light’. 

Emerging from their album campaigns, ‘The Light’ became a feature of sets for Genix (Damion Houchen) and Grum (Graeme Shepherd) during their respective world tours at the start of 2020. 

Grum’s ‘Deep State’ album saw the Scottish producer revel in classic trance nostalgia, while poignant songwriting found support from the likes of Above & Beyond, Armin Van Buuren and Kryder. 

Meanwhile, Genix ‘Anjunabeats Worldwide 09’ mix cemented his place at the forefront of the techno trance sound; high intensity stripped back club music that reverberated around the O2 Arena in Prague during ABGT350.

Finnish DJ and producer Yotto has become an Anjunadeep legend since making his debut on the label in 2015. Winning huge support from BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Danny Howard, Otto Yliperttula quickly rose to prominence with his energetic melodic house sound. His debut album ‘Hyperfall’, released in late 2018 reached #1 on Billboard’s Dance Album Chart, and saw him tour the world and play at Coachella. Since then Yotto has established his own label, Odd One Out, putting out a string of club cuts supported by the likes of Tale Of Us, Artbat and Eric Prydz.

Over a year since his last solo release on Anjunadeep, Yotto now makes a welcome homecoming with ‘Another Riff For The Good Times / Daydreaming’. Demonstrating his flair with uplifting melodies, ‘ARFTGT’ is classic Yotto, whilst the restrained ‘Daydreaming’ is a highlight from the recent chart topping compilation ‘Anjunadeep 11’.
