'It has been a little wait but Infinite Depth’s third release of 2022 is coming. This one comes out the hands of our Greek friend Symmetric, who will be doing his second EP after his previous EP in 2020. The again pretty abstract, but interesting, release is named ‘Tempest’ and consists of three originals.

The first one ‘Decade’ is the most light-weight track, but nevertheless it’s full of different short elements, coming from all places. In between all those plucky and organic percussion elements an impressive synth comes through. Together with a more floating pad, these synths are creating some very compelling moments.

‘Tempest’ is the title track of the EP. It has a somewhat dry beginning, but pretty fast a warm synth comes in which overwhelms. This is where the tension builds towards an even more impressive moment where the main lead gets a second layer. Towards the end of the track, it calms down, to eventually go all out once again.

The third and final track, called ‘Heta’, is the darkest one. Also here a lot of different atmospheric synths and percussions are used to create unity. Throughout the track it takes you deeper and deeper into the Symmetric’s mysterious signature sound. After the calm break all the diverse elements are guiding you towards the end of the EP, which again shows a whole different spectrum of melodic techno.'

Since launching in early 2016, the Explorations series returns for its fourth outing. Having previously welcomed artists such as Theo Kottis, Tontario, Modd and Luttrell to the label, ‘Anjunadeep Explorations 04’ introduces more new faces to the family.

Previously one-half of production duo Journeyman, Dom Furlonge makes his debut outing under his new Antic alias with EP opener ‘And I Pray’. Dom showcases his own vocals and distinctive production flair on this quirky club cut.

Our second track brings together the Bath-based duo Kotu and Munich’s Sam Goku on ‘Ascension’, blending a subtle rolling bassline with soaring strings and sparse piano to wonderful effect. A much sought after ID from recent Anjunadeep Editions from James Grant and Dom Donnelly.

Next up is emerging German talent Ben Böhmer with ‘Flug & Fall’. Ben fuses organic elements, vocal chanting and warm melodic grooves in this uplifting number.

Closing the EP, Melbourne’s GMJ and Matter debut with throwback progressive gem ‘Earthless’.

Curating their second release on the newly established independent imprint TAU, the Adana Twins are keen to support the best up-and-coming talent from a saturated DJ/Producer market. The second release showcases yet another rising star; Paris-based, Romanian born - BOg.

BOg first broke onto the electronic music landscape after being signed to John Digweed’s ‘Bedrock Records’. 12-years down the line he’s released on Dixon’s Innervisions & Solomun’s Diynamic, BOg is a constant in the record bags of DJs across the globe. Drawing strong influences from bands and artists such as Depeche Mode, The Prodigy, Aphex Twin or The Chemical Brothers, BOg’s ‘Terra EP’ has an evident other-worldly feel.

Innellea returns to TAU002 this time on remix duties, remixing ‘Terra’ and further cementing his position as a core artist on TAU. The B-side remix of ‘Jahar’ comes from Mathias Schober, chosen for the Adana Twins love his sound design and aesthetic, the producer delivers a remix rounding off the solid ‘Terra’ EP.

For his first EP of 2020, Brian Cid returns to his Endangered imprint with Be One; 4 powerful tracks flowing seamlessly between melodic techno & progressive house.

Last year saw Brian Cid continue the development of his Endangered label with the release of his Light In The Lotus EP, the signing of upcoming talent from all over the world, the launch of a new VA series, and label-branded events held everywhere from Brooklyn & Miami, to Canada, India, and The Dominican Republic. After a recent EP on Audiofly's Supernature label, and a remix on Fur Coat's Odd:ity, Brian is back on his own creative outlet with Be One.

'Monocerotis' is the first track on the release, and starts it off with a brooding techno vibe. Multiple listens are required to decipher the brilliant layering of sounds weaving in & out, leading to a tension-building breakdown, and supported with a foundation of subtle tribal drums. The journey continues on more of a progressive tip with the second track, 'Cometas Y Cometas'. As with all of Brian's releases, a story is being told, and in this chapter the listener is made to feel like they're floating to the next destination with the dreamy vibe created here.

Following is the title track 'Be One', which is the origin of the concept behind the project. Brian explains: 'After experiencing a deep travel in my worlds within, I became One. One with my energy & sounds. Vibrations. On this journey, we are taking a ride where the atmosphere opens up as broken sky, and the rhythms of the land breathe deep in your body. A healing shower of sounds with a live, analogue and digital feel; a sea of possibilities.' 'Fill The Void' is the finale, and this story ends with a banger. Driving melodic techno, combined with synth work bouncing back & forth; this is Brian Cid at his deepest & darkest.

In probability theory, an outcome is defined as a possible result of an experiment. Croatian duo Outcome delivers with Lota a melodic techno hymn and gives us a deep dive into the musical harmony of their universe.
