Anyma, a radical new multidisciplinary digital project from Tale Of Us innovator Matteo Milleri, arrives on Afterlife.

Matteo’s achievements with Tale Of Us need little introduction. Soaring to the highest heights of success, he is now exploring the realm of the metaverse with his hybrid persona, Anyma. The Sentient EP* signals the arrival of this integrative algorithmic consciousness. The title track holds true to the label’s progressive sound, with a percolating low end, emotive synth stabs and moments of deep contemplation. ‘Reminding’ features the wistful vocals of Rosa Anschütz, complemented by the propulsive energy of its bassline and urgent programming. A soaring breakdown takes us into the electrifying second half. ‘Fragments’ takes a more pensive stance, evoking melancholy melodies and deeply sombre tones, encouraging the listener to journey inward. Finally, ‘Omnia’ has that classic Afterlife sound, while offering a glimpse of our technology-driven future. It’s ominous, dark, seductive and designed to transport you into unexplored digital terrain.

'Enormous Tunes are welcoming Los Angeles based and Russian born ALFIYA GLOW to the label family. Her youtube videos playing the violin over house and progressive house tracks caught their attention already a while ago. NEW EARTH was the perfect track to introduce the promising and very talented female artist to the label. Alfiya is a professional trained violinist and she incorporates that beautiful acoustic instrument into her own productions. The result is a fresh and rich sound. Acoustic meets electronic.

Label honcho PASSENGER 10 contributes with a remix that takes a clubbier and darker direction but still keeps the majority of the gorgeous violin licks and the well thought-out chamber ensemble chord progressions.

Siona Records continues to have a standout 2021 with yet another mighty flavour of melodic techno, this time from Cherry(UA).

Rebel is six and a half minutes of sleek, brightly lit grooves. The flashy synths add real drama as rising pads and prickly beats all make you move. The whole tune is sure to make a huge impact on the floor. Gorgona then gets even more edgy, with lush layers of bright, pixelated synth and a twisted bassline that is layered over chunky drums. Extra fills keep you on edge and the whole thing really takes you on a trip.
