SAISONS019 is here and we are happy to welcome back our label founder Kora.

This EP displays a diversity of warm colours, travel stories and distant melodies.

Tantale, Golconda and Tango are three songs that Kora started sketching in 2018. Created with recordings from various coordinates, the EP radiates a diversity that has been painted by the brushes of people and places that Kora connected with as he was on the road, as always trusting and following the path where music is taking him.

From Allen Husley's qanun to Özdemir Güz's oud, Ra*faelle's Earth language and Alonso Rivero's drums fills, the percussive and energetic release is a travel journal that highlights our world's beautiful sounds and colourful creativity.

Named after the Mayan expression "to craft music," PAAX—comprising German Wagener and Nicolas Damonte emerge from two modest towns on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

We can say that love and music are fuels that ignite the productions of Binaryh, and that consequently take them farther and farther. The musical strength of this couple is reaching greater proportions with each new release, and after a first collaboration of great success with the Prisma Techno, we invite the duo to an EP only with original tracks.

Composed by three tracks, the EP starts with the title track, 'Hydra', which has already been played in major festivals by big techno names such as Tale of Us and D-Nox. The track features an acidic and hypnotic atmosphere, holding our attention continuously until Hydra's revelation: a strongly impacting, intense and energetic drop that releases our deepest feelings on the dance floor. It is impossible not to be affected with such energy!

In the sequence, 'Cerberus' takes us into the underworld through a steady stream, dense bass and outstanding timbres, leading us to a mysterious and engaging climate, until the climax of the track. An intro version of 'Cerberus' is also available, exploring the melody of the original track, as well as the apotheosis elements and unique musical characteristics of its creators. AEON continue their phenomenal start to the year with an EP from label founder Alex Niggemann. Due for release this April, Niggemann invites the inimitable Lauer to provide a remix.
Love, Music, People ​proves how ​Niggemann is “​always trying to push [himself] and the label forward stylistically”. ​The lead track demonstrates the “​more Italo and house influenced sounds” ​that the AEON boss has reignited his passion for recently with its bounty of synths, prominent drums and robotic vocal stab. As well as performing and producing under his Tuff City Kids alias alongside Gerd Janson, ​Lauer has released music on Running Back, Futureboogie Recordings, Live At Robert Johnson and Permanent Vacation. Niggemann explains that ​“adding a mix from the very talented Lauer was an obvious choice”. ​On his take, he stamps his unmistakable sound on it with light, uplifting synths and adding a deep groove to the bass. On closing track ​Rise Of The Machines the Italo influence shines through once again with its driving bassline, weighty drums, bubbling synths, mechanical elements and a hint of cowbell.
Since breaking through in 2006 with his remix of Booka Shade’s ​Darko,​ ​Alex Niggemann ​has continuously impressed with a slew of hits on seminal labels including Crosstown Rebels, Last Night On Earth and Mule Musiq, as well as his own AEON imprint. Niggemann launched AEON in 2013 and the label has played a huge part in developing the careers of artists such as Denis Horvat, Speaking Minds and TVA. As well as the releases, AEON is now a globally renowned brand throwing regular, sold-out parties. Recently celebrating its fifth year in the business, 2019 will see the label continue to grow with a number of EPs and events already lined up.

microCastle's second offering of 2019 welcomes Speaking In Tongues to the label for their debut EP. Conceptualized by long time friends Miguel Angel and Philip Anthony, Speaking In Tongues was a project born out of love for cutting edge electronic music. Originally meeting almost 20 years ago, after Miguel's move from Colombia to Philip's hometown of Los Angeles, the two spent a great deal of time together in various capacities, many of these aligned through a joint musical appreciation. Speaking In Tongues is meant to capture and embrace that cohesive fusion and spread it across the airwaves. The duo's creative vision has seen them land releases on TAU, Atlant Recordings and My Favorite Robot, while their recent remix of Kauf's 'Let It Slide' was aired by Ko?lsch on BBC Radio One. Now presenting their first EP project of 2019, Speaking In Tongues make their microCastle debut with 'Sabbath', alongside remixes from Mathias Schober and Zombies In Miami.

The 'Sabbath' collection is a transcendent blend of desert, eastern and indie-dance motifs, further reinforcing the duo's nomadic style. Beginning with the deep, cross cultural themes of the title track, the EP then shifts energy to the modular intensity and oriental motifs of 'Mood Swing', before eventually melting down into the pulsating, indie-esque psychedelia that is 'Eraser'. An expansive collection from the Los Angeles duo, one which draws on a variety of inspirations and thus resonates on multiple levels, as they describe.

Sabbath, we think, will remain a special tune for us. The sort of progressiveness that it lends is a style we flourish in, although not a "genre" we often flex-and perhaps that constitutes its uniqueness. For us, the track immediately conjures images of the Southern California desert and the hypnotic nights we have spent under the stars there, ultimately turning into beautifully strange mornings. Joshua Tree in particular is a special area we make a bi-annual pilgrimage to, and the spirit of that place often leaves its fingerprints on our music-Sabbath being no exception.

Premiere: Kenneth Bager Ft. Jez Phunk - Farmacia (Homage To Frankfurt Extended Mix) [Armada]

@AndrewClaristidge teams up once again with the mysterious @Workerpoor for a new EP on the eclectic @NightNoiseMusic label. The release was written between their studios in la Bretagne, Paris and Berlin, and comes backed with remixes from David Carretta, Cristiano Roberto, The Soviet Union and Tales of Voodoo.

Claristidge was formerly part of Acid Washed and has toured the world with his multi-faceted sounds that veers from pop to wave to techno. Workerpoor, meanwhile, has been at the heart of the dark electro scene on labels like Zone with artists like Arnaud Rebotini, The Hacker and Gesaffelstein. Their latest EP makes use of analog synths, drum machines and field recordings from the lake of Callac de Bretagne, so brims with life.

The second track on the release is ‘Slow Uppercut’, a slow, ambient, robotic piece redolent of Boards Of Canada that will sink you into a cosmic abyss.

Synth disco don @TheSovietUnion takes it up a notch and serves up an intergalactic workout of pixel thin synths and punk-funk drums that are fantastically visceral and direct.
