Einmusiks „5 A.M.“ was a well celebrated album and we are proud to extend the trip with names like Acid Pauli (Katermukke), Oliver Schories (Der Turnbeutel), Kruse & Nuernberg (Off Recordings), Animal Trainer (Stil vor Talent), Marc DePulse (Noir Music) and Ran Salman (Steyoyoke). The „5 A.M. Remixes“ are all epic odes to the synth with deep and dark baselines and a strong unique character.

Acid Pauli decided to combine a pumping groove and a really crazy and spiky line without loosing the original. His version of „5 A.M.“ is going straight into your knees - a masterpiece! Kruse & Nuernberg choose to make a version of „Screaming Hand“ and it became a high class house production with open spaces and uncompromised claps. It’s a floor-killer, no doubt! Oliver Schories also picked „Screaming Hand“ to bring it into a match of cold sequences and summer-like moments. The baseline is hard and dry, lovely and gloomy at the same time. Sun and clouds change on the sky. Animal Trainers „Bisloa“ version is a big floor killer. The clap is running, the syths are very free and hypnotic and the vocals are on point. Marc DePulse is on the way with „Sacro Bosco“ - hypnotic and full of powerful moments. A bomb without compromises. Last but truly not least we welcome Ran Salman
with his „Azur“ remix, which is bringing you back to the start of this magic journey.

Monumental times have arrived for Steyoyoke Recordings, as they venture into unchartered waters. This new project accumulates for years of hard work and marks the release of their very first album titled ‘Equilibrium’. The Steyoyoke artists are united within a unique concept, that utilises the four classical elements of fire, air, water and earth, bringing you a creative expression that reflects a state of balance between art, music and the natural elements. Hailing from its mothership label Circus Recordings, Yousef resurfaces his supplementary outlet Carioca Records with a much more musical approach. Unlike Circus, Carioca is designed to be less of a reflection of Yousefs DJ sets, but rather opening up a wider musical latitude, offering an opportunity to release more hypnotic house and techno, not always aimed at the DJ’s, but instead the music enthusiast.
 
Off the back of headlining sets at Glastonbury & Burning Man Festivals and a series of dates at Space Ibiza during the final season for the legendary club, Dave Seaman has been on a roll this summer. His record label, Selador Recordings also continues to go from strength to strength reaching the milestone of 50 releases with Dave's own production 'Nightfalls' which enjoyed both widespread critical acclaim and some healthy Beatport Chart action. 

And now Dave boards the Carioca express with a muscular two tracker under the Palindrome People Project banner. 
"These two tracks both started out as one thing but I ended up going backwards to go forward and then they turned into something else entirely", explains Dave. "Hence the palindrome tag, sometimes when making music retracing your steps can be more productive than just ploughing on."

If you're still none the wiser, a Palindrome is a word that reads the same backwards as forwards. And so accordingly, let us present 'Do Geese See God' & 'Devil Never Even Lived'. Get it?!

One thing we do know for sure, whichever way you look at it, be it forwards, backwards or even upside down, the Palindrome People certainly know their way. You down with PPP?

An irresistibly chunky groove is complemented with gorgeous synth accents, shuffling drums and panoramic, widescreen synths for what results in one of Erich's most unique and inspiring studio creations to date.

Next up we have Tommi Oskari's titanium coated interpretation has a poignant and impactful feel. Jagged sub tones and a profoundly subversive bass line that reaches rib cage breaking depths sits at the foundation. Draped with sheets of percolating effects a futuristic and deeply thought provoking set of tone bending chords wash over the composition which creates a rather daunting and ominous mood. The composition peaks with the lead chords warping and twisting their way to a momentous sonic conclusion. Miss this at your peril.

For our latest story in sound, Russian-born, classically-trained artist KatrinKa returns to her home label Chapter 24 in collaboration with the British producer, DJ, vocalist & multi-instrumentalist Thomas Gandey.

KatrinKa’s emotive, enticing and melodic grooves are a perfect fit for Gandey’s haunting vocals. The Nameless One is a bewitching follow up to 2015’s Beauty, a combination of dark languid rhythms and exotic scales. Meanwhile, How Does It Feel takes things to deeper, more techno-influenced dancefloors.

The EP is completed by a set of powerful Editions by Chapter 24 artists Sezer Uysal and Stas Drive, with label newcomer and up-and-coming star Tim Engelhardt also making a big impression.

Sezer Uysal (Suara, Manual) applies a cosmic and driving touch to The Nameless One, while emphasising the Eastern musicality of the original. Tim Engelhardt (Poker Flat, Cityfox) shares a dirty, groovy and sparkling vision of How Does It Feel, while Ukrainian Stas Drive (Sudbeat, Crosstown Rebels) transforms the track with big, bold synths culminating in dreamy pads.

With music of this calibre, The Nameless One shall not remain unknown for long and marks KatrinKa’s triumphant return.

With discographies tantamount to the very summit of progressive music since the 90's, both Silinder and Tilt are names which truly need no introduction.

Their recent collaboration 'Black Hearts' featuring Natasha Cadman is revisited here courtesy of a supplementary extended player. This offering showcases a flood of reworkings from equally talented peers, including Jaap Ligthart, Argt (Acid Rockers & George Thompson) and an alternative mix from Silinder himself.

Netherlands native Ligthart has been making waves for some time now thanks to his DJ commitments spanning continents in addition to an ever-growing body of studio work. He delivers a brace of mixes here, the latter 'dub' teasing some of the key original elements to a greater degree while retaining all of it's techy groove and vigour.

Duo ARGT follow suit with a stunning remix and dub parcel of their own, while Silinder completes the package with his 'nod to the 90's' rhythmic groover destined for great things in it's own right.
