PREMIERE: Brandon Scarbrough - Everything There Is (Original Mix) [LAIKA Sounds]

Hindemit's Sacrament slightly unfolds the door for a lucky wanderer and lets him have a little peek, slowly diving any listener into some form of meditation. The title says for itself. An ordinance of Sirens in the cloudy bay or, maybe, distant Sirens of Titan, who knows... Whatever you've come to imagine, an endlessly opening patchwork bud of Verene Andronikof's vocals will lure you in. The night; ambient motives; the poetic aura of a windy abandoned church on the cliff - you'll sense it. Every added instrument and every single click, topped up by Hindemit's signature beats or Ten Walls' blasting grooves (if we're talking self-remix), all building up in the right place and time and forming a perfectly tight mix.

'Label boss Schtu returns to Casomat with the 'Maltese EP', two original tracks plus a remix by Italian producer Aldebaran, coming fresh off the back of EPs on ISOLATE and Sum Over Histories.

The title track 'Maltese' is a bit of a throwback to some of last decade's classics when melody was still king, proving once again that all you really need to take the dancefloor by storm is a strong groove, the right chord sequence and a killer lead synth. Just the right combination to tickle the eardrums and get the body moving. 

'Jaipur' takes things a whole lot deeper and caters arguably more to the thinkers than the dancers, with its complex & varying arrangement and meticulous attention to sound design being the prevailing characteristics. Still, a healthy dose of Schtu's signature harmonic simultaneity is to be expected throughout. 

Rounding out the EP is a remix by Aldebaran, who burst onto the scene in 2018 and in less than 4 years has already released on the likes of Innervisions, Kompakt, Diynamic, Afterlife and pretty much every other big player that you can think of. He turns Maltese into a hectic, driving beast - layers upon layers piling up yet somehow simultaneously remaining perfectly clear, each one occupying its own little corner of the sonic landscape.'

Dimitri has been traveling the globe as a DJ and A&R since 1997, especially present in Brazil and Ibiza, co-creator and presided at Never Say Never at Ushuaia with Sasha, while releasing with Saved, Suara, Selador & Bedrock.

Cariño and Lurking Outside are deep and wonderful dance floor tracks with a driving tech house remix by Dimitri Nakov.

First released digitally in 2012, then on vinyl in 2013, Compuphonic feat. Marques Toliver’s ‘Sunset’ has proved an enduring hit with house lovers around the world. As such, the new yeaer will see it get further release, this time with brilliant remixes from Andre Lodemann & Fabian Dikof, Noema and Tim Engelhardt.

The original is a still fresh tune with pained male vocals layered over deep, heartbroken house beats. Neon chords flesh things out and the whole thing drips with a sombre sense of romanticism.

Esteemed deep house man Andre Lodemann & Fabian Dikof remix first and extend it into an eight-minute melodic masterpiece scattered with harmonics. It has a sense of drive to it that lifts you higher and makes it into a truly epic and steamy track.

Poker Flat artist Tim Engelhardt serves up two remixes. The first is a cosmic affair with arpeggiated synths rippling off into the skies as the rooted drums pop down low. The vocals feel even more heavenly in this version, while his second remix is more stripped back. Claps get your hips swinging and daubs of synth bring a playful feel to the still emotive track.

Lastly, Berlin based Noema goes deep with a shimmering mix that is layered up with xylophones, chords and wooden hits. It’s a sensuous cut that will infuse any set with real heartwarming grooves.

This is a carefully compiled package of remixes that add vital new spins to the still essential original.

Amberoom's second coming on TAU is essentially determined by Common Factors such as musical Seclusian as their approaches are Convoi(ed) by both: a mob of clubbers and DJs. As the first act ever in the fifteen EPs comprising label catalogue the trio, consisting of Manuel Tur, Adrian Hoffmann and Ramin Nouyan, have the honor to deliver a follow-up three tracker – to their first EP Jazire. The initially mentiond Common Factors thereby takes a leading part or rather said the part to  express the trio's emotional approach by creating slick melodies that connect right away with the audience and transports Amberoom's feels into the club, onto the floor into one's heart.
