On Friday evening, just as the sun had set and the night time playa was coming alive, Oliver Schories set things on fire with his debut AfrikaBurn set at Space Cowboys camp. Rock solid and smooth, this is a powerful deep house set with all new tracks from the producer. Listen out for 'Lotus' around the 18 min mark - dark and brooding, it absolutely kicks.

What more to say about Adriatique that hasn't already been said. Their mixsets are staples of the Cityfox podcasts for obvious reason. But this, a live recording from The Cityfox Experience: Enclave on April 5, 2014 in Brooklyn, demonstrates exactly why they've ascended so quickly to becoming favorites the world over to those fortunate enough to hear them live. Taking the decks after an opening from Naveen G (Listen to his full set, here: bit.ly/NGCF2014), they jumped right in, building pressure, the perfect anticipation for what they then unleashed. The spring was sprung, and it was entirely too much fun.

Electronic magic - that is what we call it. The synths are soft but straight, the clap is coming smooth and blows your mind away. Welcome Betoko on Einmusika. We don’t need to introduce the Mexican producer based in London, we just tell you, that the sun is back with these sounds coming up in April. "Phobik" is mystic and wide open - a real summer track without redunant parts. You’ll simply get lost during the break and you’ll need a deep breath after it. Be prepared, "Botox" isn’t that circumspect. It is minimalistic and straight in the beginning but after a few seconds you are back in the good old times of Techno. Less light, more night. The track reminds you of a video game sound, quick and metallic. When it stops, we have "A Long Story Short" with a bleeping start and a warm melody combined with techy synths and a dark backdrop. It’s like a chemical reaction - not easy to get out of your mind and your body. So, that is what we call magic - simply infecting.

Chicola returns to Lost and Found to open his 2018 account with three amazing remixes from three incredible artists, Ruede Hagelstein, Johannes Brecht and Karmon. A staple of the Israeli dance scene for over 20 years, Chicola continues to delight with a mixture of quality beats, strong sound design and that X factor that only certain DJs learn to understand. A firm favourite at Lost and Found, his melodic vision has provided us with some of the labels high points since inception.

Fellow German, Johannes Brecht provides the second remix, taking on the mighty ‘If He Thought You Ever Changed Your Mind’. Starting ambiently with keys this is a masterclass of the light touch mixed with the mindset of a free-form Jazz musician. Subtle and deeply personal, the undercurrent of melancholy rides the waves of synth and instrumental ad-libbing creating, at times, incredibly nuanced e-moments.

Since their big break in 2012, the Adana Twins have established a sterling reputation. They’ve been refining their sound constantly and pushing the boundaries of their musical ambition to evolve organically with the passage of time. Merging Benjamin’s love of hip-hop and Friso’s love for club music, the German-duo have developed their own signature sound that is deep, dark, emotionally-charged music with a heavy Techno influence deriving from their Hamburg origins.
