Hailing from Saint Petersberg (Russia), the extremely talented Jiminy Hop made his initial appearance on our imprint in early 2021 with his single - "Tension" and soon afterwards followed it up with a milestone 3-tracker EP featuring "Summered", "Contemplation" and "Desire", an ode to the the melody-rich side of progressive house with it's bright tones and ethereal emotions. After garnering wide-spread support, we're thrilled to present our 54th release that features new remixes of the EP by label returnees - Eric Lune, Dimuth K and Anton MAKe.

Returning to the imprint after his debut EP and contribution to our 'Tales of Time' series in 2019 is Melbourne (Australia) based artist - Eric Lune. Ever since, he's been consistently putting out incredible music, most notably on Madloch's 'Sound Avenue' + '3rd Avenue', Guy Mantzur's 'Plattenbank' and the US Goliath 'Proton Music'. Revisiting Jiminy Hop's title track - "Summered", Eric Lune channeled his inner sun-kissed memories and elevated the track into a whole new dimension by bringing in as many euphoric feelings, highlighted by a 90's inspired lead and guitar riff.

Released in March 2021, Simos Tagias and his "Euphoria / Emotion" created a sublime musical moment, frozen in time. A year later and Meanwhile returns to the EP with a pair of remixes from Paul Deep and label owners, GMJ and Matter.

Plying his trade from an early age as a DJ across the Buenos Aries province, Paul Deep has an innate understanding of the music that moves club-goers. Able to translate this knowledge into the production arena, the Argentinean has had a stream of successful releases on the underground electronic industry's finest imprints. From Tale and Tone and Juicebox Music to The Soundgarden and Sudbeat Music, Paul Deep has continued to see his music supported by the DJ elite. Releasing the "Deeper Dye" EP on Meanwhile in June 2021, Paul produced a quartet of tracks that showcased his skill and craftsmanship, followed by an appearance of "Excursions, Vol. 1" two months later with "Milo".

A debut remix of Roger Martinez in late 2020 is now followed by a typically chunky rhythmic foundation that rolls effortlessly across his interpretation of "Euphoria". Underneath a tight percussive groove, strains of Tagias' central motif can be heard that flow over a subterranean bassline. Building with consummate ease, new melodies and additional production from the Paul Deep production portfolio emerge, making their presence felt at the breakdown. Making intelligent use of the remix components, a dark and seething dancefloor destroyer explodes into life in the second half to powerful effect.

GMJ and Matter need little introduction to the Meanwhile literati. A DJ and production pair at the height of their respective powers, the curation and development of their Meanwhile name has been impeccable. Peppering the release schedule with sparkling original productions and 24-carat remixes, the duo's "Lost on Origin" and "The Path / Perfect Storm" EPs have been notable highlights in the Meanwhile catalogue.

Returning for their second remix after an appearance alongside Paul Deep reworking "80s" from Roger Martinez's "Cosmic" EP, the GMJ and Matter remix of "Emotion" burns brightly with dancefloor energy. Creating a new cadence from Tagias' central melodic progression, shimmering synths ripple out in overlapping waves while pulsating pads drive their interpretation forward with elemental force. New motifs, infused with white-noise, fizz and sparkle as they cascade across the beatless breakdown, held in check by a rolling percussion. Dropping back into a sumptuous bassline synergy in the third movement, haunting vocals and immaculately programmed synth phrasing creates a remix of rare and quality and memorable production euphoria.

Through uplifting remixes from Paul Deep and GMJ and Matter, Simos Tagias has created a new state of ecstasy with his "Euphoria" EP.

First up it's Leandro Murua who makes his second appearance on Magnitude, after having made name for himself by releasing music on labels such as YOMO Records, One Of A Kind, Droid9 and If You Wait.

Another artist who is making his return to Magnitude is Valen Gonzalez. His label debut 'Electrico' / 'Creativo' got released last December and was very well received. The perfect reason to give him a chance to do some remix work as well, so here we go!

He has done it again! With his second full EP on SNOE, the mystical Alec Troniq delivers two new bangers that are destined to set every dance floor they come across on fire. “Key Mo” is the title track, and the sound is dirty, rough and ecstatic at the same time, just as we love it. An eerie synth introduces the whispering vocal building up to a big momentum where the track erupts in fury. 

Andreas Henneberg has joined in on the EP with his own interpretation of “Key Mo”. The heavy bassline in the remix vibrates along the synths and skilfully molded vocal elements from the original, giving it a true Henneberg touch while still keeping the oh, so explosive style. Rounding up the EP is “Chivy”, a slightly lighter but not less groove infested tune with a whirlwind of sounds working together towards the addictive, synth underlined drop where you just can’t stand still.

EDGE ushers in the 2019 summer season by welcoming Sahar Z and Vic F to the label for their debut EP. Hailing from the progressive house hotbed of Tel Aviv, Sahar Z has been a fixture of his country's electronic underground for over two decades. As an artist on influential imprints such as Balance Music, Bedrock, Lost & Found and microCastle, Sahar has firmly etched his place in the genre's history. Newcomer Vic F was introduced to the world through the duo's debut collaboration 'Ollie'. Released in March of 2018 on UK behemoth Anjunadeep, it's joyous, summery sounds were a staple in the sets of Hernan Cattaneo, Guy Mantzur and Khen. Now coming together for just their second ever project, Sahar Z and Vic F land on EDGE with 'Whispers in The Dark'. 

Spread across three tracks it's the mystical charm of 'Whispers In The Dark' that gets the journey underway. Anchored by dulcet beats, hypno-grooves and sultry rhythmic structures, it's a production that flows through a myriad of vocal motifs. Cross cultural in ethos and dramatic in delivery; it's spirited wails, tantalizing tones and meditative arps form a free flowing narrative which delivers it's spiritually uplifting message.

The release continues in fine fashion with the exquisite vibes of 'Guts Over Fear'. Beginning with smooth bass stabs, acidic designs and drone-like atmospheres, it's effortless cadence powers forward, while layers of drums assemble in a lush organic space. Surreal and dream like, sonic artefacts and hazy harmonics trail across the framework, before a gaseous interlude effortlessly shifts energy into a glowing finale. 

Rounding out the collection is 'Spinner' which finds Sahar & Vic crafting their own unique brand of cosmic funk. Esoteric and groovy, it showcases the more techno inspired side of the duo's repertoire. It's rhythmic affinity becomes infectious as laser-like lines, percussive waves and a spoken word storyboard unite over perfectly contoured bass and buzzing electronics. Replete with mystical qualities, it's a heady finale to a stunning collection of music from Sahar and Vic, one which furthers the duo's studio synergy moving forward into the future.
