The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Bautista Toniolo back for his second appearance. May of 2020 marked the Argentinean artist's first contribution to our series with his gorgeous rework of ‘Unconditional’ by Freya Ridings. The Chacabuco resident continued to find success across the remainder of the year, with Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden being the landing spot for Bautista’s ‘Eternal Seconds’. Forging a bond with the legendary DJ and regarded label, Bautista returned for a second appearance in July of this year with a contribution to the label’s ‘Summer Collection’. In addition to his original projects, Bautista turned his attention to reworking ‘Mariners Apartment Complex’ by Lana Del Rey. The end result was a deep, emotive gem that has garnered play and support from  Tony McGuinness, Eelke Kleijn and Marsh. Now being made available for the first time, we’re pleased to present the track as a free download. Enjoy!

The latest installment of our free download series welcomes Joan Retamero for his first appearance. Hailing from Rosario, Argentina, Joan made his production debut in November of 2015 with a contribution to Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeats 3 compilation. A string of successful releases on Nick Warren’s Hope Recordings, Clubsonica Records and Movement Recordings followed thereafter, putting Joan at the centre of all things groovy and progressive. Also an accomplished DJ, the Rosario native made his debut at the EGG (London) in 2015 alongside top talents Nic Fanciulli and Pig & Dan, before going on to play alongside Paul Oakenfold at Ministry of Sound in 2017. With a release on Perfecto Black highlighting 2020, Joan has been quiet across 2021 thus far producing his first artist album, but building in the background has been the demand for his unofficial version of Billie Eilish’s hit ‘Oxytocin’. Much sought after since being played by Hernan Cattaneo on his popular Resident Podcast in August, we’re now happy to offer the track as an exclusive free download. Enjoy!

The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Pongo for their first appearance. Based in Italy and made up of real-life brothers Giovanni and Daniele Bruni, Pongo first emerged in 2017 with a pair of EPs via Connected Frontline. Remixed by Aaaron and Artbat, and finding favour with a broad selection of electronic music tastemakers, the releases quickly established the duo’s neatly produced, club-centric sound. A string of projects for Booka Shade’s Blaufield Music soon followed, before the duo found a more permanent home on Marc Romboy’s long-standing Systematic imprint. In a year that has seen Pongo release seven original productions and a remix, the duo also took to re-imagining the 1979 disco-pop classic ‘Moskow Disko’ by Belgian band Telex. The Turkish artist has compiled an impressive resume since arriving on the progressive scene in 2019. Releases on Droid9, Mango Alley, Movement Recordings and Soundteller Records sit prominently in his discography, while his near two-decade long career as a DJ has seen him share the decks with Alex Niggemann, Artbat, Cid Inc, Nick Warren and Oliver Huntemann. In addition to his official production work, Kenan sometimes revisits his favourite records from the past and works on new interpretations to use in his sets and to share with his elite level contemporaries. Most recently the Ankara resident has turned his attention to iio’s ‘Rapture’, a track which dominated clubland in the early 2000’s. The end result was a triptastic progressive groover that is currently making the rounds with electronic music’s premiere tastemakers. As a fixture of the electronic underground for the better part of a decade, Ukrainian artist Arude is perhaps best known for his twenty-plus appearances on long-standing Berlin imprint Steyoyoke. It was this creative swell which set the stage for more recent projects via Beatfreak, Eklektisch, Radikon and Renaissance, all of which have been ideal landing spots for his elusive sound. An in-demand remixer for sometime, it was earlier this year that Arude took to re-interpreting ‘The Sound of Violence’ by French electro duo Cassius. Hailing from Israel, Adam Sellouk first emerged in 2021 with a contribution to Steyoyoke’s Paradigm collection. Immediately recognized for his astral sound, Adam quickly caught the attention of world class DJ Miss Monique, who signed him to her Siona Records imprint for a two-track showcase later that same year. 2022 would see further successes for Adam, with Nora En Pure’s Purified imprint being the landing spot for ‘Mirage’, a well received production which saw play from Agents of Time, Innellea, Kevin de Vries and Mathame. Also an accomplished DJ, Adam has been a fixture of his country’s nightlife of late, programming music for some of Tel Aviv’s trendiest venues. The latest edition of our free download series welcomes Hernan Cattaneo, Jamie Stevens and Anton Tumas for their first appearance. Needing little introduction and simply known as the maestro, Hernan Cattaneo is one of the world’s most beloved DJs and his Sudbeat Music imprint is widely regarded as one of the best in its field. With a career that spans over three decades, Hernan Cattaneo has recorded eleven albums, thirty singles and fifty remixes, all while touring the world delighting passionate music lovers with his impeccable taste and exquisite programming skills.

Meanwhile, Australian artist Jamie Stevens has achieved an amazing level of critical and commercial success over the course of his three-decade long career. As one of his country’s most talented and sought-after artists, Jamie has proven his skill in professional sound design, film scores and contemporary electronic music. Prolific and consistent in equal measure, Jamie has enjoyed a creative swell in recent years, landing releases via Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream, John Digweed’s Bedrock Records and Guy J’s Lost & Found.

The third member of the trio is American artist, DJ and promoter Anton Tumas. With a career that spans well over a decade, the Los Angeles resident has left an inevitable mark on the underground scene through his Subtract On The Pier residency and burgeoning Subtract Music imprint.

Last year the trio combined their extensive forces and took to reworking Pink Floyd's ‘Breathe (In the Air)’. As one of Serbia’s top electronic music exports, Space Motion has delighted fans with his floor filling, hands in the air productions. As a regular at the top of Beatport’s sales charts, the Novi Sad resident continues to earn praise from the scene’s premiere tastemakers in Pete Tong, Solomun, Black Coffee, Tiesto, David Guetta, Hardwell and more. Famed for his official covers, there is perhaps no active electronic music artist who has remade more of our scene’s most seminal tracks. Depeche Mode, Felix Da Housecat, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Knights of the Jaguar, Yeke Yeke and more have all received Space Motion’s inimitable production touch. Continuing to search for new pieces to put his elusive stamp on, Space Motion took to remixing Dance2Trance’s classic ‘Power Of American Natives’ earlier this year. Also an accomplished DJ, Emi’s long undulating sets have been applauded for their impeccable track selection and exquisite programming. The duo have built a strong synergy over what has been a six-year creative swell, showcasing their original material on Nick’s The Soundgarden imprint, while also recording a string of impressive remixes for DAYS like NIGHTS, Get Physical, Proton Music and many more trendsetting imprints. Always looking for new avenues to test their creative chops, the duo took to re-imagining Depeche Mode’s ‘The Things You Said’ earlier this year. Released in 1987 as part of the band’s ‘Music for the Masses’, an album widely regarded to encompass the best styles from both ‘Black Celebration’ and ‘Violator’, ‘The Things You Said’ has stood the test of time and remains a high point on the seminal and much loved long-player. Nick Warren and Nicolas Rada have combined their extensive forces once again, knocking out a near nine-minute epic rendition which has not only been a staple in Nick’s recent sets, but also finds the duo landing more additive ever. The latest installment of our free download series welcomes Adam Sellouk and Matan Tamal with their take on ‘Rumble’ by Skrillex, Fred again & Flowdan. Hailing from Israel, Adam Sellouk first emerged in 2021 with a contribution to Steyoyoke’s Paradigm collection. Immediately recognized for his astral sound, Adam quickly caught the attention of world class DJ Miss Monique, who signed him to her Siona Records imprint for a two-track showcase later that same year. 2022 would see further successes for Adam, with Nora En Pure’s Purified imprint being the landing spot for ‘Mirage’, a well received production which saw play from Agents of Time, Innellea, Kevin de Vries and Mathame. Meanwhile, fellow countryman Matan Tamal has enjoyed similar success since his debut on Steyoyoke in 2021. Over the next two calendar years the Petah Tikva resident would record projects for Awen Tales, Duenia and Lowbit Records. Having previously collaborated on ‘Polar’, a track which was released via Awen Tales last year, Adam and Matan decided to work on a club effective version of ‘Rumble’ by Skrillex, Fred Again & Flowdan. Released as part of Skrillex’s 2023 album ‘Quest for Fire’, the dubstep/grime fusion proved to be one of the album’s most popular tracks, racking up close to one hundred million streams across a six month stretch. As a much requested track in the sets of Argy, Innellea, 8kays, Human Rias recent sets, we’re happy to offer their bootleg version as a free download. Enjoy
