Marcus Tonaco aka Tonaco, nascido em Paraíso do Tocantins, no coração cerrado brasileiro, é um jovem DJ e produtor que carrega consigo influências de artistas como Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, Dmitry Molosh e Guy J.

Com apenas 21 anos, o tocantinense já lançou tracks pelas labels Mango Alley, Soundteller, Droid9, Transensations, Genesis, entre outras mundo afora.

O talento que emerge através de muita dedicação e amor pela música eletrônica tem como combustível a busca por novas sonoridades e o desejo de fazer a pista pensar a música fora da caixa.

The DJ, producer and label owner Gorkiz is known for almost a decade of production in his catalogue, navigating through the grooves and melodies of House, Tech and Progressive. With powerful releases signed on key labels in the music industry, such as Mango Alley, Toolroom, Clubsonica Records, Kittball, Balkan Connection, KDB Records, Lapsus Music, Stereo Productions and many more, he built a strong background as an artist, earning the support of several players like Steve Lawler, Marco Carola, Betoko, DJ Ruby, Rauschhaus, Hernan Cattaneo, Lucas Rossi, Sebastian Busto and many more. 

After a remarkable experience in the studio, Gorkiz is refreshed and prepared to face a new musical season, focusing his massive talent to work in the Progressive House scene. Naturally answering to his inside voice and vocation, he’s shaping fresh and authentic themes with a top notch musical quality, delivering a high standard material to the finest boutiques of the electronic music digital platforms.

Founder of Transensations Records, Gorkiz is now one of the leading heads of the brazilian Progressive House scene, and he’s bringing some of the hottest Melodic and Progressive tracks with him and his crew. Alongside his partner Pedräda, he’s hosting a new radio show on Proton Radio, ready to leave
his mark in one of the biggest platforms of Progressive House in the world, always with proper good vibes and a pumping energy in his sound signature.

Comenzaron su carrera en el año 2015, han tenido la posibilidad de presentarse en provincias como Mendoza o Rosario y ciudades del exterior en reiteradas ocasiones como Miami en Estados Unidos o DF y Tulum en México.  

Su influencia por la música de los 70’s y 80’ los llevo a editar música en sellos discográficos como Desert In Me, Soundteller, The Purr y Massive Harmony.

Cuentan con el apoyo de artistas como Hernan Cattaneo, Facundo Mohrr, Soundexile, Nicolás Rada, David Hohme, Valdovinos ,DSF, entre otros.

Han compartido escenario con grandes artistas como Eelke Kleijn, Whomadewho, Denis Horvat, Jooris Vorn, Agents Of Time, Lee Burridge, Sebastien Leger, Sahar Z, Yokoo, Hermanez, Death On The Balcony , entre otros.
