Following the massive success of Omniverse, which saw support from some of the biggest names in the scene and reached the Beatport progressive house Top 10, Second Sine returns to Yomo Records with a stunning 3-track EP.

I Was There is a driving progressive gem featuring Andrej's signature sounds including heavy percussion, techy stabs, and atmospheric textures atop an irresistible groove.

Tape Wreck is even more on the techy side of the genre and immediately grabs you with its rolling bassline and cavernous synth stabs. The break with its haunting, complex harmonies allows you to take a little breather before the pounding beats drop back in again.

Within My Heart once again showcases Second Sine's immens production skills. With its lush, almost housey chords and sprinkles of reversed saxophone the track is a deeper affair, yet with enough punch to keep you going on the dancefloor.

Presenting their second release of the year, Antrim’s Or Two Strangers welcomes Sebastian Sellares back to the label for a new EP. The Cordoba resident has been one of the imprints core artists since first appearing in 2019, with five original productions released over the course of a prolific sixteen month stretch. UK behemoth Anjunadeep, Cid Inc’s Replug Records, GMJ and Matter's Meanwhile and US powerhouse Proton Music have also served as landing spots for the Argentine's mesmerizing productions, while progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren continue to champion his sound. With the year being highlighted by the recently released Replug vehicle ‘Sky Above’, a joint EP project produced alongside fellow countryman Ezequiel Arias, Sebastian now returns to Or Two Strangers with a three track showcase entitled ‘Blizzard’.

EP opener and title selection ‘Blizzard’ finds Sebastian operating at the peak of his creative powers. Fuelled by tough driving beats and layers of hypnotic percussion; it’s Sebastian’s stirring melodies which ultimately shape the piece into a memorable dance floor slam. Colourful cascades emerge leading into the main break, sitting in an emotional headspace and bringing with them trails of balmy atmospherics and effervescent effects, before eventually breaking off into a drop of rebounding rhythms and heartwarming chord changes.

Selection two ‘Elements of Nature’ lands with an equally impressive display of craftsmanship. Sebastian re-affirms his ability to tip a late-night dance floor over the edge, with wobbly grooves and hip-swinging percussion laying the foundation for misty atmospheres and smoky instrumentation. Sitting comfortably in an ethereal yet thought provoking space, thumping beats rise out of a soulful strum-led break into an ever-evolving, free form finale.

The EP’s final selection ‘Hypnotica’ finds Sebastian continuing to diversify his portfolio with a whimsical creation that’s nicely dialled for the sunrise hours. Deeper in design and highly stylized in delivery, its beautifully contoured, funk-fuelled groove sets the course for incandescent melodies and otherworldly harmonics to create a panoramic musical skyline. Often celebrated for his ability to create emotional themes, Sebastian has ventured further with the ‘Blizzard’ collection, into a time of true innovation, traversing a multitude of realms and dimensions within the progressive spectrum, while excelling throughout.

We are delighted to finally get the chance to unleash the first full EP from an artist that we had on our radar for while now, as we see Poland based producer bring on another release to the scene, this time through our PHW imprint. You have seen him on our label lately with the exceptional “Sunset Trip”, brought on to our latest PHW & Friends compilation as well as being on a remix just a few weeks back. 

Now he return with 2 high flying melodic gems on the label, as we first out see “Three Nights In Doha” take a spot as the opening track. This is a wonderful melodic progressive track, packed with rolling melodies, chord progressions and well patched textures to bring the best out for the European summer. We are totally fine with you, having this one on repeat! 

Next up, comes the production baptized as “Hundred Days”. This one, an oozing melodic gem packed with high octane energy, fantastic textures and that melody driven progressions that so often takes us on a journey. 

We can’t say less than that he’s nailed it once again for us, and we can’t wait to see the reactions on this one.

Hailing from Senta in Serbia, we see the return to PHW Elements from the always great Abraham A. With a string of releases on major label in the genre over the past years, he definitely built a name around his production style and we thrilled to see him join us on original for the first time. His new single called “Taltosh” is a groovy little progressive monster, using cool vocal chops and spice things up with a monstrous bass line, slick kick drums and everything in between to make this a true gem for any decent floor across the globe.

We also see a debut on the label, and we are both thrilled and excited to bring on the talented Gabriel Cazali who is based in Guatemala. With a string of fresh releases, through labels such as A Must Have and Particles and many more, he’s already showcased his music as something for the bigger arenas. With this remake of the “Taltosh” original, you get a truly stripped down, energetic and melody driven production from start to finish. We love to see him contribute on the label and we think he is a hidden name to many of you that we now see shine again on the scene. 

For those who have been with us in the past, know a bit about a fresh and rising progressive talent, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as Arzuk join back on PHW Elements once again. With his fresh and innovative style of making music, he once again contribute with a jaw dropping production. This one, built through massive grooves, epic melodic arrangements that gives a great blend of atmosphere and that mystic feel. It’s another super production from the talented youngster that we hope will please a lot.
