Tash's Movement Recordings opens the new year by welcoming Not Demure back to the label for his first EP. Born in Argentina and now based in Spain, Not Demure first emerged in 2017 with releases courtesy of Hitclub and TOTUM Music. Gaining momentum and fans quickly, the Mar del Plata native went on to showcase his music via LAIKA Sounds, Magician On Duty and Univack. Also finding a home on Movement Recordings, Not Demure's contribution to the label's 'ProgNoesis' Vol. 1 collection went on to be played by Guy J, and still sits at the top of his Beatport best sellers over a year later. Having released his 'New Resilience' EP via Movement's Limited division in November of last year, Not Demure now steps back up to the main imprint with 'Aifos', alongside a remix from Weird Sounding Dude.

As Not Demure continues to find a healthy balance between organic and progressive house, it is the melodic sounds of the title selection which lead the release off. Backed by punchy beats and a warm, chunky groove, its laid-back energy is fluid from the start. As the break approaches, tantalizing arps and warm, textural drifts marry beautifully atop layers of neatly tailored percussion. The main arp continues to rise across the centrepiece, flowing through effervescent modulation and tactfully building towards an emotive final movement. The companion piece 'Deux' follows with an even greater emotional disposition. Colourful synth phrasing and fragmented melodies blanket a warm, voluptuous groove for an immediate heartwarming effect. Timely vocal accents add further depth across the break, before smoothly segueing into a seductive finale.

Making his label debut and providing the lone interpretation of 'Aifos' is Weird Sounding Dude. Based in Bangalore, the Indian artist is now considered one of his country's most beloved progressive house producers. As a favourite of the genre's premiere tastemakers, Weird Sounding Dude has compiled an impressive discography with standout releases via Anjunadeep, Hoomidaas, The Soundgarden and Sudbeat Music, while receiving play and support from Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and Guy J. Coming off his best year to date, Weird Sounding Dude gets 2022 off to a stylish start with a stellar take on 'Aifos'. Clocking in at nine magical minutes, the Bangalore resident finds success with a sleeker, more dubbed out approach. Pulsating grooves and dusty percussion marry beautifully with muted chord stabs and balmy atmospheres. Hopeful pads continue to rise across the main break, bringing moments of calm, while looping rhythms and a wave of noise spark a groove-centric drop and effects-laden finale. Intelligent and danceable, it goes down as another stand out production for Weird Sounding Dude, as Movement Recordings kicks off 2022 with a sensational first offering.

nedotsixtwo continue their journey eastward and touch down in Istanbul, Turkey where we are excited to welcome longstanding Turkish artist Hakan Özürün to our label family, with his 2-track EP titled Purple Void. 
Over the years Hakan has released on labels such as Addictive Sounds, Nothing But and  White Soho to name a few. After a musical hiatus he is now back in the studio creating beautiful tracks designed for today’s global progressive dance floors, releasing on the legendary Bonzai Progressive. 

The title track Purple Void is an ethereal workout of driving beats with subtle melodies and stabs that weave in and out of each other, keeping the energy levels high.

Today we really hope to get some serious attention when we unleash a total stormer on the scene. We are overwhelmed to be able to bring a fantastic collaboration between 2 of the best names in the business, the Russian phenomenon Dallonte and the French superstar James Woods.

"Synergy" as this  superb production is called is nothing less than a driving journey in sound design, including melodic hooks, rolling bass chords and pounding elements to give it a wonderful feel, so made for the club-floors. We do have high hopes on seeing this one getting aired all over the globe. Superb work from 2 superb producers!

On remix duty, we have 3 blistering interpretations from very talented names, First out, we want to welcome a new name on our roster and in the PHW family.

It's with great pleasure we welcome you a name that we feel soon are to explode on the scene. The Russian duo behind Namatria is now showing their music through our label, and they do it with a massive take on this original when they get their firm touch on the original ideas from Dallonte & James Woods out in full bloom. We could never have asked for more really, it is just wonderful music.

The 2nd remix comes all the way from India where we once more have hooked up with the talented producer behind the alias of Skyknock. Being a stellar name on the scene and quickly rising his fanbase through his exceptional sound design, we of course are happy to bring his qualities back once more. Here he delivers another mazing interpretation for us, and we couldn't be happier than we are. This guy is an excellent sound designer with a huge apetit for the genre.

The 3rd take on this release is a welcome return from one of our most frequent producers on the label and today he return to us for the 6th time. It is always a great pleasure to see Michal Malinowski aka Mizar B on the roster, because you know he always bring out the best with his innovative and creative productions and we can't say he missed this time either. With a more experimental take on it, of course in the well known Mizar B spirit, he definitely takes you on a full in bloom ride through this production.

Having that said, we are both proud and excited to see the reactions from all of you out there, and we think you feel that another great delivery is made!

Cloudive returns to Silk Textures with a triumphant follow-up to his previous "Feelin Lovin' / Try It Again" EP. Better known as Trance & Progressive talent Aleksey Yakovlev, Cloudive has successfully re-invented himself as a veritable threat in the exploding niche of deep house. 

His latest effort, "I Wanna Know", is another smooth and groovy after-hours gem, centered on a titular vocal hook. A classic deep house bassline helps to guide the listener along, as well as a variety of atmospheric pads. The one and only remix in the package comes from fellow veteran Zan Preveé, whose last remix for our imprint received radio support from Above & Beyond. A chunky groove gives his rendering plenty of dancefloor appeal, while a variety of light arps and vocal stabs fill out the mid-range.

Remixes come from Enhanced stalwarts MoodFreak, Arty and newcomer Matt Holliday, ahead of his 'Your Touch' release later this year. MoodFreak chops the vocal and layers it over his irresistible groove, whilst Arty creates a huge, big room lead and Matt Holliday shows us his quality with a well layered melodic rendition.
