Following the massive success of Omniverse, which saw support from some of the biggest names in the scene and reached the Beatport progressive house Top 10, Second Sine returns to Yomo Records with a stunning 3-track EP.

I Was There is a driving progressive gem featuring Andrej's signature sounds including heavy percussion, techy stabs, and atmospheric textures atop an irresistible groove.

Tape Wreck is even more on the techy side of the genre and immediately grabs you with its rolling bassline and cavernous synth stabs. The break with its haunting, complex harmonies allows you to take a little breather before the pounding beats drop back in again.

Within My Heart once again showcases Second Sine's immens production skills. With its lush, almost housey chords and sprinkles of reversed saxophone the track is a deeper affair, yet with enough punch to keep you going on the dancefloor.

Presenting their second release of the year, Antrim’s Or Two Strangers welcomes Sebastian Sellares back to the label for a new EP. The Cordoba resident has been one of the imprints core artists since first appearing in 2019, with five original productions released over the course of a prolific sixteen month stretch. UK behemoth Anjunadeep, Cid Inc’s Replug Records, GMJ and Matter's Meanwhile and US powerhouse Proton Music have also served as landing spots for the Argentine's mesmerizing productions, while progressive music tastemakers Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren continue to champion his sound. With the year being highlighted by the recently released Replug vehicle ‘Sky Above’, a joint EP project produced alongside fellow countryman Ezequiel Arias, Sebastian now returns to Or Two Strangers with a three track showcase entitled ‘Blizzard’.

EP opener and title selection ‘Blizzard’ finds Sebastian operating at the peak of his creative powers. Fuelled by tough driving beats and layers of hypnotic percussion; it’s Sebastian’s stirring melodies which ultimately shape the piece into a memorable dance floor slam. Colourful cascades emerge leading into the main break, sitting in an emotional headspace and bringing with them trails of balmy atmospherics and effervescent effects, before eventually breaking off into a drop of rebounding rhythms and heartwarming chord changes.

Selection two ‘Elements of Nature’ lands with an equally impressive display of craftsmanship. Sebastian re-affirms his ability to tip a late-night dance floor over the edge, with wobbly grooves and hip-swinging percussion laying the foundation for misty atmospheres and smoky instrumentation. Sitting comfortably in an ethereal yet thought provoking space, thumping beats rise out of a soulful strum-led break into an ever-evolving, free form finale.

The EP’s final selection ‘Hypnotica’ finds Sebastian continuing to diversify his portfolio with a whimsical creation that’s nicely dialled for the sunrise hours. Deeper in design and highly stylized in delivery, its beautifully contoured, funk-fuelled groove sets the course for incandescent melodies and otherworldly harmonics to create a panoramic musical skyline. Often celebrated for his ability to create emotional themes, Sebastian has ventured further with the ‘Blizzard’ collection, into a time of true innovation, traversing a multitude of realms and dimensions within the progressive spectrum, while excelling throughout.

Hailing from Copenhagen in Denmark, we have the great pleasure to present you one of the guys making music at home secretly and once he showed us this production, we immediately saw some great potential in this track and once we got the great light to tie this one up, we started to make progress to build the release. We hope the Eric Bala alias is here to stay, as he here showcase the there is a chance for everyone to start a musical career. For us it has never been about the names and will never be, it's about the melodic hook and the arrangements. "Mutopia 0101" as this production is baptized as, is a warm progressive production with great uplifting feel. There are some superb melodic arrangements, swelling synth riffs and lovely pads that is just brilliant and we are thrilled to deliver it to you. On remix duty you will get some fine work again from one of our great buddies of the label, rising Dutch starlet Morrison Kiers that return to our place once more, to deliver another magnificent remix for us. As always he does the magic when building up a warm atmosphere, using cool melodic hooks, warm bass sounds and through those textures, bringing on the warm and atmospheric feel he is getting known for. We for sure is thrilled to have him back with us, as he brings on a dope progressive production once more! The 2nd remix is a delivery from a newcomer in our house, and a new member of the PHW family. Hailing from Morocco, the young talented duo behind the A.Squared moniker showcase that they are someone to keep an eye out for, as they bring on their first imprint for us. Being seen as a part of Nueva Digital, Round Triangle and Bomba Records in the past, we for sure feel they got some great potential and we do think you are going to like what they have done here. Bringing on a more deep touch with some more groovy elements, still with the uplifting and warm feel kept, we think you got a superb track coming up here, that definitely will be something to write home about. Another warm and emotional release from PHW is here, lets see if you feel it is something you want to support, we do think so! <
